Basement Grow Room

Looking for some help with a project I'd like to start around December or January. I already have a grow box setup to grow from seed and through the veg stage.

I want to make this room in my basement to be used for flowering. I need to have a perpetual harvest of at least 1 lb per month and this is my current plan.

I will make my room in the basement in the area given (6' x 15.5') by framing walls with 2x4s and then drywall with plastic to prevent absorbtion.

Four "boxes" will be created on the back wall with drywall and only the neccessary amount of 2x4s to hold up the seperators between the boxes. Each will be 3' x 3' and have a 250W HPS light and a door on the front of the box. Each box will be light tight to each other so I can stagger the start times of each and be able to harvest 9 plants every 2 weeks (9oz).

I have considered a few other ways to section up my given area to be the most efficient it can be. So far 4, 3'x3' boxes seems to be the largest possible yield. I was considering putting two 6' x 6' rooms with space in between them for walking and using 1000W HPS lights for each. Although it will be double the power of my current system it will provide as much as 36 oz every 4 weeks.

As you can see I'm a little bit lost in all of this, looking for advice on how I can make the best use of my space, while still leaving some room for resivoirs, CO2 tank, and other neccessities.

Any suggestions for how to set up the walls would be greatly appreciated and once I have that figured out I will start to figure out the rest of the logistics.

Thanks! :bigjoint:

Not trying to sound like a ass but I dont see you getting 9 zips a 250w. Id run 2 1k watters or 600s atleast. I think you have good intentions but your goal isnt realistic until you get your shit dialed in

Im about to start a sog myself but too many people read al b fucts thread and think they can pull that kinda smoke there first run. that man had his room tailer fitted!

think this way, 1 room for flower, 1 room for veg. forget the drywall, use osb, and if you want very sealed there is a white rubber paint that works great. im not even gowing to go into the lights but you need to be realistic about your yields. it takes a long time to get there with what you are wanting to use to do it. i run a perpetual grow, 12 plants get harested every three weeks. flower room is 6'x10' with 3000w and very sealed. i ran 2000w for a long time and using an aero system it still took a few harvest to get close to what i wanted. just dont count on having that amount if it is crucial as far as your economic situation goes.
