Basement Tent - Too Cold

Just set up my first grow tent and I think I have the opposite problem as most with my temps. My grow tent is a 3x3x6 with a 300w LED light. After putting everything up, my tent has only reached 62 degrees over the last two days. How can elevate the temperature to around 70? Would adding a 100w incadescent bulb work? I've also seen some heated grow mats, would that work? Looking at you basement growers / cold weather peeps for some advice.

if u have your area set up right the air exchanging is to fast for that to work

u looking at a investment in a heater unit for the area outside the tent.....u need to warm that up some so when it is pulled into the tent is around where u want ...other part is have a theraml break from the cool floor and your tent bottom (like camping u do not want to sleep directly on the ground with sleeping bag u want ground mat so warmth does not bleed off that way)

i say a new IR heater as it does not dry the air out like a old electric one ............ohhhhh this could be perfect for a propain heater (the co2 from it burrning would boost the power of the plants) .......if u do this get a monitor and make sure u set it up right so no tip overs and anything bad ....fire alarm or 2 would be smart

I just moved into my basement in a tent as well so i feel ya man. Luckly it's in a room in the basement though so it's a little easier than it being in a large space. I actually have upgraded from a 250w being too hot in my previous closet to a 400w which is still not enough heat so 600w is coming on monday. So yeah i'm going with a bigger light to help warm things up. I also slowed my ventilation fan speed down to slow the exchanging of air so that the warm air created from the light stays a hair longer. I also am having to run a small heater where i set it at 65 degree temp, my exhaust blows near the heater so in turn my heater actually keeps my tent 70 degrees with light on, while the room itself is 60 degrees. When lights are out the tent temp drops to 60, which preferably i'd want it at 65 but I don't really have a choice. Temps will be rising soon in my area though so that should help. Ideally i want to find a bigger more efficient heater for next winter.
Normally basement temps without heater is 45-50 degrees.

u should look into a propain heater.........a co2 burner is just that but ment only for co2 no real heat .....so the heater will do the same thing plus increase the over all power of your area (co2 enriching moves plants to whole new lvls) i am not shitting u feed soil and all can get u so far co2 is 50% of the over all to maxing out

You could just have a few less grows a year and plan your grows when the weather is warmer.Myself i skip the summer indoors because the amount of electricity needed is much higher.I built a greenhouse for my summer grows.it produces a lot more than a tent and costs less to operate.
