BB Blue Cheese fem seed grow in bubbler

I dont have a good picture, but its simple. Basic bubbler.
5 gallon paint bucket from home depot.
cut a hole in the top for a flower pot (Amazon sells awesome net pots that fit as a lid on a 5 gallon bucket)
Get a fish tank air pump and and air stone. ( I get the double pump and get 2 6 inch air stones) To keep oxygen in the water for the roots.
Then a submersible fish tank water pump. Run a hose from the pump that is inside the bucket up and into the pot to run water down the plant back into the bucket. Continuous circulation.
Fill the pot with hydroton balls.
Put the seedling in the rockwell cube and put it in the hydroton balls.
There are a bunch of DIY DWC threads on here. Super easy stuff.
Okay thanks just curious i like to see how everyone sets up their own stuff... everyones does it just a bit different... Cant wait to see your next set of photos.

Hey I was looking into doing a dwc/bubbleponics setup, but I was ready that the water needs to be cool like 70 degrees, are you running a chiller or if not how are you keeping temperature that low?

You would be surprised how cool the res water is. Mine naturally stays right around 70°. It got a little warm once and I just added a tray of ice cubes and it got back down to temp.

You have deficiency going on there that nothing to do with light to close!

Either calcium or just to much nutes?

Only little plant still doesn't need much nutes In DWC system.

Have roots come out net pot yet?

Yea the roots are growing well in the bucket.
The bottom leaves were burned young. The top leaves that look yellow are like that because of the light above. I moved it to the left to take a picture and it made the leaf look yellow in the picture.

I don't think it's too much nutes, just not enough...they're starting to veg heavy now. Give em full growth nutes, plenty of nitrogen. Keep ppms round 700 or so. Also, how big u want that bitch because if you started flowering her right now she's gonna top off around 3.5-4' without topping her. Otherwise I'd start topping her right now.

I already topped her once. Should i do more? Ive read blue cheese branches alot and may not need alot of topping. Is that correct?

Doesn't matter how much a plant branches. The more the better in fact. Just keep toppin the shit outta her. I've never personally grown blue chz, but it doesn't matter what strain it is to me. I bush my plants out. Keeping an even canopy and short stature is our goal as indoor growers.

Agreed Jon. Glad to get your input. Love watching your grows.
I will be flowering with big buddha silver cheese, Dinafem Critical Kush, and TH Seeds buku. My tent is 4x4x7 so i have decent vertical room. Just hoping i have enough floor space for everything.

I see you're in good shape for vertical space, but it's lateral growth we want to achieve in an indoor grow room. The light penetration and lumens deminish greatly after only 12" from the bulb. If you can train your plants to grow laterally vs vertically it'll not only increase the surface area of light distribution but more importantly, every bud site is receiving the maximum potential your lighting can accommodate! Thus creating the maximum yield per plant while taking advantage of every per square inch of space. Hope this makes sense?

PS...please call me JB, thx

Grown this strain 4/5 times from seeds.

An always got better yield when didn't top them. The smell of these once in flower very strong.

What your saying makes perfect sense JB. What Machead wrote, is what i read about this particular strain. So to experiment, i will top this plant alot. The 1st top i did, i cloned. I wont top it, ill just let it grow. See who does better.

yes of course also i noticed a big difference in each seed i flowered some was massive 5ft plants an others only grew 3ft.

by size those fan leaves yours showing already id say you have the smaller stocky ones

This strain does well with supercropping. I've only popped one of my BB BC seeds but am currently flowering my third plant (took 2 clones from the one I popped).
