They are looking pretty sad, fed them 3ml to a gallon of cal/mag. Going to feed them 5ml of that 9-3-6 next watering. Blue cheese smells amazing nothing like the last ones, smells kind of like the northern lights i grew like pine sol but lemony.

WoW G ... Thost look pretty damn good to me bro.
Is that a mostly sativa ?

I went ahead and took the space blanket down, felt like it was getting too hot in there now. I'm going to invest in mylar next time. I found about 36 sour diesel seeds, enjoyed every last bit of of the smoke

I was wondering the same thing, does it seem sativa dom? The last 4 I grew didn't stretch nearly as much as this one did and has smaller leaves. Pretty excited to grow the sour diesel the bud was fire, you can smell it across a room I would share them if I knew anyone else close that grew lol

I haven't been able to find anyone that had a lemon scent coming from their blue cheese

Well ... I can only go by photos, but unless I just "don't get it" ... it seems sativa dom to me.
You have lemon scent from your BC ? Is that normal for BC ? wouldn't think so ... but what do I know.

The same country is close ... right ? hehehe

I hope they ALL germ for ya man ;-)

Yeah I haven't been able to find anything about a lemon scented blue cheese so it gets me thinking if I mixed the beans up which I really don't think I did because they were in the same little vial since I got them. I supposed the same country is close haha, and it's gonna take a while to find out if they will all germ, I was kinda planning on doing 3 bigger ones again but I dunno, maybe do another 12/12 from seed sog

I have seen a lot worse! They dont look too bad. Just dont over feed, they may be sensitive and you could be getting some lock out.
Thanks man, been trying to keep the nutes low. Hopefully these new nutes will help

Fed yesterday with 5ml of 9-3-6 to a gallon and just aren't looking too good, looks like Blue cheese has a serious calcium deficiency same with kandy kush just not as much they look kinda burnt as well. I feel like adding anything else would only do harm.... should I just give her straight water for a while? I just don't know, I've never had this much trouble with a grow before. Maybe it's the PH? The PH of the water going in is 7, it comes out at about 6.3 this is pretty much how it has always been and stays

I had an issue with mine ... My 1st nute burn. It also cause a lockout. The leaves looked the same as yours. I treated it with a really good flush to clean any salts or left over nutes. Then just water for two feedings. It bounced back like crazy.

Thats where I would start bro ... And like you said "I feel like adding anything else would only do harm" ;-)
You have to remember ... we can grow these just fine with straight water. If a problem arises, we caused it !

Just my 2 cents ...

I can tell the stems on blue cheese are gonna give out on her when she starts packing on the weight, happened last time with these blue cheese stem snapped and the bud was just dangling there almost touching the ground. I was wondering what would be the easiest/best way to support them this time?

This what happened the first time I grew out BBBC -

bluecheeser.jpg this one came out to 44g, I was very happy with her, only the stems were weak she smelt like fruity skunky bubble gum. My camera's battery was fried at the time of harvest so I had no good pictures to do her justice :(

I also haven't been taking pics of the special queen cuz I've neglected her too much and looks like a prime example of what your plants shouldn't look like

44g ... very nice ;-)

I would think some sticks from the yard maybe ? Thats what I did for my ivy. Just stuck them into the pot and use zip ties, bread ties, whatever.

I was thinking of doing that but would shoving it down through the root ball hurt her at all?

After using the google I suppose it won't hurt her, I'll probably just buy a thinner stake, all the sticks outside are huge

So pretty sure I didn't mix the blue cheese seed up now, she's really starting to smell like the first one i grew, there is still a faint lemony smell but the skunky sweet fresh berry smell is back. The kandy kush smells like sweet coffee. Also put new emergency blankets back up, tried to keep it flatter but didn't really work out. It does stay cooler in there tho, probably just going to repaint it after these are done.

I saw your reflectors do not extend to ends of the bulbs, horizontally. From what I saw they are reflecting almost no light.

I use the large 11 inch clamp reflectors but you can tape some aluminum foil or thin sheets of metal to the edges of the reflector to make do.

A proper reflector almost doubles the lumens the plant gets. More heat build up so gotta watch for that with a fan if needed.

I am growing a Barneys Blue Cheese right now, first time. Had a tough time deciding between Barney's and Buddah BC. Might pick up a Buddah BC seed next order.

I use preamended soil to avoid all these nute lockout issues, just water it. Even so I am having some ph problems and will throw the rest of the ffof soil out and try Roots Organic next time.

Hey there yesum

I really dont believe that one. Could be, and have been wrong before. lol
But lumens are lumens right ? They only put out so much ! I know your not hanging on to the "double" statement, but if you could provide a source to the formula that describes that I would appreciate it ? I can see a proper (?) reflector re-directing some misguided lumens, but not seeing double.

And ... if that is all you meant, then that's cool and never mind ;-) No harm intended, just trying to educate myself

I measured the lux or lumens with a meter and it was just about double. Had a single cfl with and without reflector.

The meters are cheap like $30 or so if you want to try it.

Thanks everyone :D, I've been trying to think of ways to put reflectors on them but not sure how to go about doing it. I'm probably just going to end up trying to make a hood some time. But they sure do work without
