RIU can't stop the government from prosecuting growers whose information it got from RIU, if RIU refused to acknowledge the subpoena, or didn't keep records of its forums activities they could endlessly delay all requests for information like Google is doing, like Overgrow did, like anyone who has their users interests at heart would do. The thread is in Grow Room and Design, the 30 page thread that was closed, very last post by the ADMIN, trying to jump on board with these other pompous asses. Calls me a newbie after revealing my grow location, after these dudes were following me around to every thread trying to troll me. This place just represents how ignorant and backward the average person is, so glad this happened sooner rather than later.

To resolve your IP to your address LEO would need provide a court order to your ISP. To get said order from a judge LEO would need to provide just probable cause to do so. Do you really think simply comments made on a public forum alone would justify that?

it makes even less sense to worry about if your legal or not worry about plant counts and shit the only one I'm worried about breaking is 99 plants but thats not hard at all. not too mention romney said he was gonna fight medical marijuana tooth and nail if he becomes president. thats the last thing I'd want is to be a med grower liscensed by the state and paying taxes so its real easy for the feds to say you had a long running criminal enterprise or some shit. but I'm sure they will leave the little guys alone atleast for a while. I hope romney don't win I don't like obama much but he sure as shit got my vote.

no I don't live in calli not even a med state but I would not go over 99 plants cause thats some serious fed time if you do.

IMO, the feds, the state whichever... the goverment. They do what they want, when they want. We get arrested and put in jail before stating our case which costs money and time and lost of job and slander of media... all the law talk and whats legal and not legal doesnt matter too much cause once your put under the spotlight your fucked either way. Just comes down to are you fucked for acouple yrs tied up in our filled shitty court system or are you fucked for next decade cause you actually broke the law for smoking a joint or caught with a joint and placed under arrested for fake felony charge that your expected to pleed out to an be watched for the decade.

But hey, i guess it works for the people who actually do crazy things like child porn ect. Pick your poison but i also dont vote because im uneducated in politics so i dont think my vote is fair. Just how i personally view things.
