be harsh what I'm I doing right and what can I do better with ?

ok so first off I'm growing an auto hybrid indica dominant call Dark Purple from delicious seeds and it's my second attempt, first time things didn't go to well, the plant was very small but yet it flowered and I got bud, dried it out and ended up with a 1 big joint lol but it was good now I changed the pot to a mesh pot for better drainage and I mixed coco with promix and I have nuits from the beginning I'm using fox farm trio pack and call mag plus so my little girl (it's feminized ) just sprouted today any tips on my setup? I have attached pics. my light are much lower now reading about 700 on my light meter and the area around the top of it doesn't feel hot at all also should I start off watering with calmag and nuits right away? or should I wait till week 2 of veg to water with one nuit and should calmag be used right off the bat and mixed with the nuits? should I water just plane water in between? any suggestions or comments would be very helpful in want more then a J this time . oh and my ph is reading 7 now thanks !

Your PH is too high, you want to keep it 5.5-6.5, dumbass! (well, you SAID to be harsh)

LOL, looking good.

I would wait until at least a week after she breaks ground, maybe two (depending on how fast she grows) before starting nutes.

I have the exact same ph meter! I only use it to see how moist my soil is... If it wasn't for that option in particular I've would of thrown that piece of shit as far as I could! Don't rely on it to read your ph

you need a real ph meter, for liquid. that one is for soil only. whats important is the ph of the solution you feed it with. 6.5 is where you want to be

I use an Oakton ph meter. Its $52 on amazon right now

Grab you a cheap-decent Digital PH meter off Amazon, left one is around $15, the one on right cost $35. The cheaper left one is best out of the two..Just search Vantakool Digitsl PH Meter on Amazon..20170307_004609.jpg

Thanks for being "harsh" lol how would I bring it down ...calmag ? and your saying every thing looks good even how close the lights are, they were much farther away the first time around and I should check the PH of the water before a water ?

you wanna get a good auto. do my method. you'll get around 3 oz dry off 1 plant.

first.. invest some cash.. bout 150$

things youll need all from amazon.

1. mars 300 led grow light (80 bucks shipped to your door)

2. General Hydroponics GO Box (40 bucks shipped)

3. Fox Farm Ocean Forest 12 qt (3 gallon) bag (20 shipped)


germinate seed.. spray with water bottle for a week. give a little bioroot root stimulator.


never over water continue to water more but less often as she grows.


4 weeks in start veg nutes till she stops flowering stretch.. switch to bloom nutes/booster/bio marine

you'll finsih with a 2-3 foot tall plant that'll give u 1-3 oz dry of fire smoke.



Its simple with this way of growing.


if using synthetic nutes and u wanna ph get yourself a qimius ph meter and general hydrponics ph test kit (like 35 for both)

Yeah get ph tester, should be atleast 6.5
Maybe get a stronger light? I at minimum like getting the 2000 mark on my same Meter I have at home
I wait 2 or 3 weeks after my last Transplant to use any nutes, the ff soil has enough in it untill then. I usually water 2 times a week so I go, feed, water, feed, water. But I also don't gives much nutes at a time. Some people do water water feed water water feed. Except once I'm in flower, mix alittle molasses in with my regular watering when I'm not feeding

Either a commercial PH Up/Down kit (usually phosphoric acid is used on the down side), or if you want to go natural, you can use vinegar or lemon juice. Always a good idea to check PH before watering is the solution has sat for a while. The PH can drift some over a day or two.

Trust me man!! You don't want to use vinegar! From personal experience, your plants will suffer from ph fluctuation... Do your own experiment if you don't believe me! Test the ph of your water ph'd with vinegar... wait 6-7 hours then test it again... you'll quickly see that your ph will elevate dramatically... :peace::leaf:

i gave you some great advice like #1 buy general hydroponics ph kit. ... to get ph dialed in you need ph up and down and a pen or the kit.

I bet you water too much, feed to early and too much. I tried to help you out remember that.

you personally said you got a dry weight off a plant of 1 fat joint.. like what 2 grams? My piss has more thc in it than your 2 gram dry weight failure of a plant.


heres what a real auto can do in 87 days from seed.



That pic.. I got 90 grams dry of top shelf funky nugs.

I hope every grow you try fails like a mother fucker and it will.. because you're over thinking it ya fuckin goon!

Get some better lighting , there's many options out there if you can afford it.

For coco you can start feeding at half strength or under (200ppms)

You can do feed feed water. And when you water use water/calmag combo. Never plain watering in coco

If you want to avoid salt build up its good to have a little run off. (10%)

Put your big pants on if you want to stick around on this forum
