I believe it was done in the time of of Persians, in theory should be very good for you, if you don't mind the taste, but many others here will have other ideas of what to do , with semi germinated cannabis seeds ....lol

You can always make milk with blended bean sprouts and clean water or even just straight up beans and water. I believe bubble man does this and strains with a 220-250 micron screen.

People eat hemp seeds left right and centre all over the world for their nutritional value, they eat it by choice. Why would they or we not consider the seedlings? We have no issue whatsoever putting cress in our egg mayo sanwhiches...

can buy the same hemp seeds in health food shops for 5 times the price as the hemp seeds in the pet shop
hipster inflation tax that be

personally i do not know anyone who eats hemp seeds, budgies like them though
i would suspect if you wanted to score some hippy points or are some kind of vegan
a hemp seed weed sprout salad would sound appetising, think ill pass myself though

peace

What has the source got to do with anything?

What has being a hippy got to do with eating hemp deeds? Lots of people, whether they are hardcore carnivore, or vegan, eat hemp seeds, just as they do sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Because they're good for you. You have a very warped view of people and life. I eat all kinds of seeds, because they taste good, and its a very cheap and easy method of consuming something that is actually good for my body.

Do you not eat salad either? Is that just for hippy points as well?

The reality is plenty of people happily eat it for no other reason than it is good for them. Try opening your mind to reality.

I just love river fishing, one year in Scotland we used a ground bait, Cannabis/ hemp seeds to attract the fishie, naturally blazed, but for years, I never made the link, to this day upper class snobs also use this method, hence perhaps why in the UK hemp/cannabis seeds are legal...?

I used to buy hemp protein powder instead of that nasty whey stuff. It had the ground hulls in there as well for extra fiber. Hemp seed is very good for you. I have no strict diet regimen I eat a bit of everything. It has nothing to do with being a hippy and I'm open to try ALMOST anything once. It's strange to me that you find eating hemp seed strange. It's no different than eating flax, poppy or sesame seeds which I am sure are incorporated into your foods a bit here and there.
