Beating the heat

I am wanting to put a growlab 60 in my attic, but sometimes the temps can soar in the summer and dip in the winter. How hard is it to control the temps on the inside when the outside may be extreme. Does anyone know how well the are insulated?

I was also thinking of adding a small vent in there that would run from the a/c unit to help. Think this is possible? Thanks in advance for the help.

They aren't insulated at all. There is the reflective inner coating and the canvas outer layer...that's it.

Without air conditioning, the tent is going to be at least as warm as the room its in but more realistically will be several degrees warmer.

heat is a killer. depending on your lights it can hover around 90 in there. i grew last summer and had temps well into the 90's and i had mine in a bedroom with plenty of ac. they just got hot. my grow did very well yielding over a pound off 13 plants.
