hey everybody i am not new to growing, but i am an absolute rookie. i have taken an old armoire and started retrofitting it for a grow cabinet my plan is to have 3 cabinets one for seedling/clones, one for veg, one for flowering. for lighting it seems like CFL is the way to go for seedling/clones. but i a m leaning towards LED for veg/flower.
so far i have a 60in tall, 22in deep and 31in wide armoire that i have fitted with mylar film. i havent installed any sort of ventilation yet (the doors dont fit snug so im getting away with it for now) but i do have a small fan circulating the air. also using smart pots and a mix of ocean forest and bat gunano and earthworm castings.
my lighting as of now is janky at best and im not entirely proud of it but its working for now but hey what are test runs for right? well i have 4 6500k CFL light bulbs in a box with a makeshift reflective hood. i have one tube "gro
w" light hanging off the back wall. one small flexible lamp in the middle of three plants with a daylight spectrum led bulb. i also have a small blud led strip from an aquarium setup, im not sure if its doing anything thou?
any suggestions or advice is appreciated (im a recreational grower and im doing this for fun and my own smoke)
