Before I get crazy and buy something.. (LED vs LEC)

Sure this question has been asked a few times, but I'm having trouble finding what I would call a direct comparison. For ~300 dollars is there a cob setup that could compete with the output of the 315 fixture? Whatever it is, its going into a 36x36x72" tent with a 450CFM inline and a carbon filter. I love the idea of saving some money on the elec, but have set my budget around 300 because I can get an air cooled 600mh/hps locally for about 100 bucks.

Would three of these COB fixtures do the trick at about ~600 from the wall?

Just wanting to make sure the general consensus is that I'll pull more and probably denser product off a 315 lamp that COBs or blurple lights for around the same money. I'm not up for any DIY in terms of the LED, just trying to buy something and call it a day. If i do go the 315 route probably buy the ballast, sun systems remote reflector and phillips bulb, puts me around 310 unless some of y'all have a different suggestion for getting it done cheap.

I'm working in a walk in closet with shitty ventilation, although my condo does have forced air A/c that keeps up as much as I need it to.

Thanks for any and all feedback

I was actually going to message you, but I'm not used to this forum format and couldn't find the button, or for one reason or another couldn't figure it out.

You think the build quality of those Chinese cob panels is trash? Do they work well when they are working?
Very open to suggestions, but it looks like to get 350-400/W of vero or cree COBs I'm looking at ~500 no?

Yo man!
I have the same grow space and i use DIY COB.
The cost as below from kingbrite- alibaba

4pcs--CXB3590 3500k CD top bin 36V 80CRI + Ideal holder 50-2303CR + LED glass lens KB-HB100-80, unit price is $41.8usd per set= $167,2
1pcs--HLG-185H-C1400B, t is dimmable, and cound run 4pcs leds at 36V, each led is 50.4w. unit price: $44.5usd/pcs
4pcs--Heatsink: Φ133mm*H70mm(for 50-65W): $10.5usd/pcs= $42

So total would be 167,2+44,5+42= $253,7

+ Shipping cost

And it should be enough light for such small cabinet.. :P
