I started 4 unknown fem WW seeds in AeroGarden Pro 200 three wks ago. Vegged w/ AG lighting and two additional 26w=100w 6500k in clamp lamps. I found out about Y splitter fitting for bulbs, and found two nice 42w=150w 2700k flouro's at WalMart under $10.00 a piece. Going to switch to the two 42w bigger bulbs and start 12/12 flowering stage.

I Nutrient burned/ PH fluctuation prob in wk 1-2. They look better now after i flushed and stabilized PH @ 6 and ppm around 800(instead of 1400 ppm in wk 1-2).
That was dumb and I hope I didn't stress enough to turn them all males?

Ohh yeah. E-bay $170.00 steal from Cali Nursery Store, usually go off around $224.00 and $12.75 shipping. I won a Brand New 90w UFo Led. They sell by the hour almost. Watch E-bay....it's wild.? I was interested in testing something that everyone is afraid to mess around with right now. Saying to wait ten years, and then the technology in America will catch that of Nasa or the Japanese right? Whatever, Im so curious, and I'm a visual learner that likes to experiment. I think all this hydro/electrical/dwc/weed shit is going to drive me to enroll in some small electrical courses at the junior college. i heard going to a 12v course is like an instant promotion/ certification to get you a better job or salary boost! In some areas like Marine Rigging for the Gov't. Start as an Intern, in a pay as your train program, allowing you to learn how to rig cool shit up at home, and not hooking electrical cords everywhere and burning down the House!!!!!

NEW 90w 2009 HYDROPONIC LED UFO Grow Light, RED & BLUE
BRIDGELUX LEDS, 660nm RED, 460nm BLUE = 400 Watt HPS

You're bidding on one new in box 90W Full Spectrum LED UFO Grow Light featuring USA made BridgeLux components.

For people that enjoy indoor gardening, the amount of energy we use is of course of the utmost importance. With 90W of power, the unit uses little more electricity than a small plug in nightlight. The cost savings you will receive from this unit will pay for its purchase within a few grow cycles of usage. The 660nm red + 460nm blue wavelengths used in these units represent a great leap forward in LED technology nearly equal in output to a 400w HPS.

There is absolutely no heat signature associated with this unit.

The output of one 90W LED Grow Light is equivalent to a 400W HID Grow Light.....You gain the same yield as using a 400W lamp while only using 90W in electricity.

HID bulbs start to go bad after just a few cycles. The lifespan for this light is 80,000 hours, Thats nearly 10 years.

No Ballast is required and there is no risk of thermal footprints. Maintenance free with nothing to replace ever.

Need a reason to switch from HPS or MH to a LED Grow Light?? Here's 9

1) This lamp will reduce your energy costs by 80% to 90% compared to fluorescents tubes, HPS and Metal Halide bulbs. You will pay for this entire light within two grow cycles.

2) Built in fans (3 high power fans) to eliminate need for external ventilation equipment (SAVE MONEY!!!!!)

3) 90% to 95% of light is absorbed by the plant, unlike HPS or MH.

4) Heat is reduced over 80% compared to HPS or MH. You don't have to worry about burnt leaves or the fear of fire.

5) Lifespan is about 80,000 hours. This lamp will last over 10 years and THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT BULBS TO BUY!! you will save huge amounts of money versus replacement HPS bulbs.

6) Zero maintenance whatsoever.

7) Wide angle rays illuminate and reach "dead" areas flourecent bulbs can miss. NEARLY 100 PERCENT OF THE SPECTRUM FROM THESE BULBS IS USED BY THE PLANT!

8) No installation required whatsoever (Plug and Grow)

9) Hanging kits are pre-attached to these units for ease of use. No more fumbling around with rope and other cumborsome hanging mechanisms.

THREE YEAR WARRANTY INCLUDED

This UFO LED comes with a three year warranty against manufacturer caused defects.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A UFO LIGHT ON EBAY PAY ATTENTION TO THE WARRANTY!!!!!! IF THERE IS NO MENTION OF ONE IT's BECAUSE THERE IS NONE, ITS SO THE SELLER CAN PROFIT AND YOU WILL LOSE. WHO ARE YOU GOING TO RUN TO WHEN YOUR CHEAPLY MADE UFO IS NOT WORKING? THE LOCAL UFO REPAIR MAN? THERE ISN'T ONE! PURCHASES FROM THE HYDROPONIC HUT ARE GUARANTEED AGAINST MANUFACTURER ERROR FOR 3 YEARS.

This light is amazing for both stages of a plants growth cycle. One lamp does it all.

BLUE LED's are crucial in the formation of chlorophyll, chloroplast development (chloroplasts are the little organs inside cells where photosynthesis takes place, more of them = more photosynthesis = more plant growth), also, photosynthesis circadian rhythm (knowing when lights are on and off – related to flowering too) and the production of some enzymes in plants is controlled by blue light. In plants a decrease in the blue light spectrum signals to a leaf that it could be a shade leaf and in turn it won’t create chloroplasts, which means no matter how many zillion rays of light hit the leaf it will not produce the amount of energy it is capable of manufacturing.

RED LED's encourage stem elongation, flowering, and other plant growth changes. High Pressure Sodium lights contain more yellowish-red which results in longer stems and a terrific flower cycle. Red light can increase starch accumulation in some plants which is similar to giving a athlete a power bar (more energy)

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A CHEAP KNOCKOFF.
There are many sellers of UFO LED lights and the majority of them have no clue as to what goes into a well made light nor even for that matter, plant care. We offer a money back guarantee and stake our reputation on our product. We pride ourselves on the quality of our indoor gardening lamps and stand behind our product 110%. ALL LED LIGHTS ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME! IF IT SEEMS LIKE TO GOOD OF A DEAL ITS FOR A REASON.

I do Lot's of research when Im bored....And I found this at 1,000 bulbs.com:

“You get what you pay for” certainly holds true when it comes to LED lighting.

You may have heard recent reports about many of the problems that are now being seen with inexpensively manufactured LED components coming in from overseas. As far as the consumer is concerned, there are two main segments of LED lights: the semiconductors and the drivers that operate the LED. Many manufacturers are now over driving the semiconductors in an effort to produce greater light output. Unfortunately this process often leads to premature burnout and lumen depletion.

A simple search on the internet for LED light bulbs will bring up hundreds of Sites that are selling LEDs and an even greater number of prices for what seem to be identical products. With LEDs being a popular but pricey item, many shoppers are going for the lowest price they can find only to be disappointed when their purchase fails to perform as expected. Quality control at the manufacturing end has everything to do with customer satisfaction at the consumer end.

Most people don’t have the time to research the many manufacturers, nor the money to invest to evaluate the many LED products across the globe.

lots of skepticism.! almost intimidating....

:-P Yahhhhh, I think that's just the coolest thing to happen since the gravity bong. I'm jacked and now will be there opening day, hoping to catch a pre-game BP Homer or foulball! lol....

I added two more reptile lights 26w=130w cfl. 10.0 UVB. I thought that would help give the babies a different lighting spectrum, maybe allowing a little growth spurt. I also increased nutes to 1200 from last weeks 800ppm.

So far so good. All look good after beginner flaws(nutrient burns/ph imbalance). I should be getting to the point when i might be able to see some female or male signs?

Say Whats Up on here! If You're out there and are interested in this experiment....?

Let's get it goin.... it's been 11 days now of flowering and I'm getting a bit antsy. I do see something developing there in the armpit of the lady i hope. I need to see white hairs right? Ha I have found a lucky WWidow lady and I'm now ready to see what this LED will do. I can't decide though how I want to approach this experiment. Should I flower strictly with UFO or a mix of 400w HPS/UFO on and off for week increments or find a way to position them both in the room? I was thinking of using mainly the 90 watt UFO and use the 400 watt for supplementary wk long growth spurts/ spectrum changes. I heard you get twice the resin and thc potency in the buds by casually stressing the plants in your flower stage with the LED's weird light spectrum. It's definatley a different delivery system, Where as lumens don't matter and the special spectrum activates the stressful photosynthesis..supposeively it's designed perfectly for growing plants. And I also learned that we are limited to a 3x3' space. Ohh well... :wall:

ill have more coming... The LED revolution is upon us. Move out of the way critics, for you said the same thing about soil/hydro or indoor/outdoor or MH/HPS and now HPS/LED.

If you use both hps and leds for the same plants, how are you gonna know whether the "mixture" hps+led is more effective than "only hps" or "only leds"?
