Any advice of the 36hr dark period at the start of flowering, i have done it but do not have enough comparisons to tell if it makes noticable difference, though i will say it SEEMS to work, any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Not done it so dunno, has anyone gone from 18/6 to 17/7 then 16/8 etc to 12/12 over the course of a week so it breaks em in easy to shorter days.

be interesting to know but cant see me doing that, they're going straight onto 12/12 from 18/6 with or without the 36hr dark period hee hee.

thanks dude, im looking forward to seeing how these turn out... as for auto's, i maybe gonna try a TD and an auto mazar, side by side auto grow, out the garden in a greenhouse during the summer, planted in 75l black dustbins, plant 2nd week of May perhaps.

i'm gonna throw these in here as i dont really wanna start a journal on a grow that is 9 weeks in and nearly coming to its end, so ill double whammy this thread and update on the ww x bb grow here too....

day 35 of 12/12 after 3 weeks veg.
600w hps, in 18l pots, blah blah blah, (exactly the same conditions etc as the bella's) 1st post in the thread.

HOORAY!! my delivery came today so its all systems go from Monday, 24hrs lights on, into 24hrs lights off, into 12/12 on monday. clones to be taken too in the next 7 days and for the record, going back to rockwool cubes from jiffy pellets, just personal pref.

first of all, thanks for kind words and the sub. welcome. secondly, im so glad you told me about the mutant, i was all ready to let her go til the others were ready, just to see what would happen with her, but, she sure is smelling nice and looking the part, covered in trichs. she so small atm tho i should be able to just trim her, dry her, cure her then wrap a rizzla around her and blaze the biatch!!!!

to be honest, this is one of the prettiest plants i've ever grown, hence the name i suppose, translates as 'beautiful lady' and not a bad yielder but not the best for couchlock, stoned head.
i have never experienced trippiness off her but i grew up in the welsh valleys and we were taking mushrooms for fun back in the day, they were free and plentiful lol, so to make me trip i think it would have to be some STRONG SHIT man pmsl.

last photos of them in veg. got my cubes soaking ready for cloning later on today, which in turn will lollipop and tidy up the bottom's ready for the flip. their first bloom feed is mixed up and ready to be given, i'm gonna give it to em just after ive taken the clones and then plunge em into 24hrs of darkness from 6pm tonight, (Sunday). as they're from seed, should i wait to see pistils before giving her a 'date' as opposed to monday being day 1? i made this mistake with the ww x bb :dunce:

the ladies are now into their 24 hr dark period before lights come back on at 6pm tomorrow on 12/12, i've lollipopped them vigorously and taken the clones from 5 of the more fuller looking ladies, though any one of them look like they could be keepers. one slight hiccup, forgot to repot the 2 ww x bb clones, :dunce:

, in there as they're only in 5" pots so they'll be going into larger pots sometime tomorrow. the mutant is looking oddly nice, she's like a whole plant cola, only 10in tall but fattening up nicely, smelling lovely and packing the trichs on now..... pics to come...

Ive heard of the 24 hr dark period prior to flowering but ive never tried it my self how is it working out for you, how quickly do you notice flowers after you intiate flowering?

well i didnt do it with the ww x bb and it was nearly 2 weeks before they 'showed', i'm expecting these to be showing in a few days, (<week) like last time when i did do it. will take pics at lights on tomorrow and again when first pistils show.

ok so here are the pics of, well, all of it, firstly the 2 ww x bb clones, decided to repot them

then we have the belladonna clones in their dome

before i took them out for 5 minutes for a photo shoot, my bad

here are the ww x bb at day ?????? of 12/12 but coming on really nicely

and last but not least, the belladonna mamas & co. on day 1 of 12/12

any guesses on how far in the ww x bb are guys, from the day i flipped em to 12/12, they are on day 49 today..... from the first pistils showing, um, uh, ?????
