Bend growing your plant.

Sick of those little popcorn buds that take growing energy from my plants. I usually just prune them off but the end bud gets so dense it ends up bending the stem over. Has anyone done this and how efficient is it? Is it worth the effort and does it help

I am working on a new batch I just started training yesterday, I'll post some pics here in a few minutes.

The earlier you start training, the easier it is to bend the stems and the more quickly they will respond favorably. When you bend the stem down, within a few hours the leaves will have turned up and started growing again.

I find it fascinating how well they respond. Is it worth it? If you are limited to a certain number of plants, and you want to fill the tent with colas, this is the way to do it. It takes longer to veg, but I love to care for and watch how the plants respond so I really enjoy it more than if I just planted a bunch of small plants to fill a scrog.

LST/Bending helps get those bud sites under the main cola going.. check mine out.. and they are all growing straight up since the branch is laying horizontally.

That's 3 weeks into flower. I vegged her for 7 weeks til her main stem was 36in from the base (Running up the branch from soil to tip top) WHole idea was to keep her short but to bush out the canopy. as it sits now.. the one plant alone has a canopy that's about 10 sqft right now with like 15 main colas growing in along with all those buds growing off the arms. Can't wait til she's done.
