Bending

i am wondering if anyone has tried bending their tops?

i recently topped my plants and i waited for the tops to grow a little then i began to bend them to be a little lower that the next set of growth, now the plant is looking like it has four tops instead of the two it had before i began bending

just wondering if this is good or bad for the plants,

bending your plant is fine alot of people do it to create bushiness in there crops! most people who do it have the smaller grow room with fewer plants and to stop it from growing upwards to high and promote the lower branch's to become heads them self if you do it right you'll end up getting better yeaild in your grow but be very genital cos can cause the plant stress if twist tie's have just been throwen on it should only be done in the veg stage of growth hope this helped.

I used to drill screws ( or just use push pins if you can) into the rim of the pot. Then I'd use gardening twine to pull branches over (Twisting the ends of the twine around the screws). I recommend bending them OVER the middle of the plant.

It's a great, easy way to keep your babies short and bushy.
If you're using CFLs or T5's it's a good way to let quality light reach the middle of the stems.

sounds like your might have accidently started a scrog ... or your just lsting them ... as long as your gentle with them your plants will be fine

i actulla bend one of the tops too far last night and it kinda put a crease in the stem, so far it is looking fine like it is healing itself its been about 24 hours so....

and i am beginning to bend all of my tops as to make four tops too each plant, i am going to begin flowering soon and i take it that once i begin that it wil be bad to keep bending them correct?

super crop? what is that?

the stem is still doing fine, and the tops look very good, as for the others i waited a week in topping so i am not able to bend them so far apart yet, but i plan on bending them all so they appear to have 4 tops ( good idea or bad?) and also if i do end up bending all of them should i hold off on putting them into 12/12 so they can veg. with four tops so to say
