Hey RIU anyone recommend a good strain to grow that has some awesome medicinal value. A one to one ratio of CBD/THC?

Thanks for all your help in advance:leaf:

I grew out a cbd crew critical mass. Very nice plant covered in frost. I didn't have her tested so I can't verify any numbers, but they claim to be 1:1 or better.

I have tried it. It's a very relaxing high. Definitely a night time smoke. It provided pretty good pain relief for arthritic bones. I made some oil from it for a patient of mine, and will update this thread once I get some feedback.

when CBD or CBC is required I grow out a very high THC plant and harvest very late, as a great percentage of the THC converts or degrades to CBC/CBD anyways ....lol couch lock to couch ...dead ...lol

THC does not degrade to CBD. It actually peaks before THC does

FYI

Please don't spread bullshit, if you want to help others and help yourself get some real information first. Here is the best place to find it http://www.projectcbd.org/.

[EDIT] - The longer you let it go the trichomes turn from clear to milky to amber and that is how you get your couchlock effect by letting it go into the amber stage.

THC degrades into CBN, not CBD.
CBN in large doses causes "couchlock", but that is much different compared to the CBD effect.
When vaped/smoked/ingested, CBD acts as a super anti-inflammatory, relieving any and all aches or arthritis in your body.

To answer the original question, here are the CBD strains to look for:
Pennywise - TGA
Sweet n Sour Widow - CBD Crew
Dancehall - Reggae Seeds
Juanita La Lagromisa - Reggae Seeds
Senora Ampora - Reggae Seeds
Revolution - Reggae Seeds
Cannatonic - Resin Seeds
Dieseltonic - Resin Seeds

What about Harlequin from Bodhi?

I think your best bet is to not pickup seeds but to pick up a clone of the tried and true. Cannatonic and Harlequin are available in the bay area at EWC and Harborside. I know I am against most clones but I have read that harlequin seeds don't always produce plants with high CBD.

I didn't know shanti was a part of cbd crew. Its actually like a coalition of some good breeders doing it so anything from them are gonna be quality

One would think that, but there has been some serious herm problems with CBD Crews feminized strains.
That's why I only listed Sweet n Sour Widow from them, as it's only available in regular form.
