Best Autoflower for outdoor Northeast USA

Before I asked this question I searched all over the forums. I could not find an answer and was hoping ya'll could help me. Next Spring, I want to start some short autoflower seeds indoors. After about two weeks, I want to move them outside. My concern is outside temperature. I have read that some autoflower strains don't like temperatures below 15 degrees celsius or 59 degrees fahrenheit. Where I live, Northeast US, it goes in the 50s at night even in July. I want to go with a short strain and really like the idea of LR#2s. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have 1 Nirvana Short Rider/Easy Rider in my Aero system, and these seem to be very Vigorous plants, which withstand almost anything. The growth rate is very fast, and it seems impossible to hurt it.

From what I hear this strain loves the outdoors. I'm throwing some outside today (eastern Canada), to see how how they do.

Good luck!

greenthumbs iranian autoflower when its back in stock or easy ryder from lowryderseeds. Doc's iranian will outyield the easyryder but the easy ryder is much tastier, very good grape hashy flavor and stoney as fuck too.

Checked with Greenthumb. Iranian will be back in next week. Thanks for the reply. Those were the two I have honned in on and the confirmation makes me feel better.

i have to agree with punkenstein the easyryder does taste a little bit better that the iranian auto but not enough to overlook the weight difference. iranian autos yield 4x-8x more outdoors and at least twice as much indoors and the potency is also better than easyryder.

I like the Iranian but actually, it would probably produce too much for me. I am a rather light user so, a few easyryder lowryders would probably have me set for a whole year.

what about the super autos? I realize theyre new and all but ill be in a similar climate for my first grow and they seem real legit, Nirvana Sky in particular is what i was looking at. I've seen the super auto thread but nobody seems to have much insight.

My favorite strain is auto ak 47. I love it, good yield with it being auto, excellent poenticy , easy to grow, Fast finisher , tepermental to temps in my experience, I would go with that if i were you. I live in michigan, I can put out auto ak in early may and harvest in mid august, I'll veg indoors for about 2 weeks and move them outside and start more, two weeks later i'll put those out too, i get two harvests in one cold michiagan summer. I'm sure you could get more if you tried but my op is mainly indoors. Lowryder 1 is junk, 2 is better but auto ak is a cross of LR#2 & Ak 47. auto blueberry is a good tasting/looking plant but i'm not impressed with it's yield . Auto diesel is great too, if you like the diesel ( i'm not a huge fan), A cross of auto ak and nyc diesel (i think) , is like auto ak but with the taste of the diesel, and about the same yield as auto ak. I have experimented with all of these strains, I like the auto ak best, great taste, bag appeal, awesome potency and almost clock like accuracy with it's cycles. Males show at or around 14 days. females about 7 days later. I dont like how auto ak is sensitive to nutrients ( It is) or how much root space they need to be worthy (2 gal pots min). The best pull off of a single auto ak was 85 grams or so wet and 26 dry. i'v heard lots of "stories"about people pulling 90 grams dry off of them, I have been growing auto ak for over 1 year now, I'v never seen one. but i would like to be proven wrong. Thats about all i can tell you about my experiences with the autos, GL with your decision. Super autos are too new for me to get my hands on yet, but if they take 100-120 days like they say , i'll grow a regular photoperiod plant instead. the buying factor on an auto for me is quick harvests, 120 days is twice the time of an auto give or take a week, I'd rather have 2 small harvests over 1 big one but thats just me. :):) 1. AUTO AK47 2. Diesel Ryder 3. L.R.#2 4. Auto blueberry 5 L.R #1 If i had to rate them based on my experiences .

Hey chemdawg how did you average 8 zips a plant? Did you veg then indoors until 12+ inches then put them outside? I wanna pick sum iaf up but I would like to find out a ballpark estimate of the yeild of plants vegged till 15 inches high...then they will be put outdoors in a patch of woods near a stream...great sun exposure but it still been gettin in the 30's at night would this be a problem? And its been raining or drizzling about 2 times a week so was thinkin of planting then comin back and harvest making only 2 trips

I vegged until they were 2ft and still did not get but 3ounces but my first harvest was june 10th,I vegged in early spring and set them out last april and harvested in june and I also cloned cuts all summer long and set clones out all the way through july and harvested those in august and september

So in your opinion how was the smoke....sheshh 3 zips?? I was hoping for atleast 150g dry each plant vegged until 15inches...what was your highest yeilding auto strain you had experience with?
