Best AUTOFLOWERING Strain Out There???

How are everyone's autoflowers doing???

It's that time of year. Anyone who planted autos outdoors to finish in time with the normal harvest time of the year OR have them indoors about to finish, lets see some final plant/bud shots before they are chopped?! Would like to see more of them and how they grow/finish so I can determine whether I'm gonna need to order them for this fall or just stick with what I have that's regular strain.

Hey man, I noticed you said you wanted a sour diesel auto. I didn't see anyone mention it, but you can get diesel ryders which (i'm pretty sure) are NYC Diesel x Lowryder #2. Close enough right? haha.

Ya, that'd prob be a good one. Although I might consider the AK47 autos first. I think that might be my favorite choice in the end. Of course, every grower wants to switch it up every so often, so it's not to say I wouldn't consider that for the future. It's a great strain regardless. I wonder how the auto genetics effect it's potency and whatnot.

Thx for the tip!

You have any autos going right now?

Sweet. I think if you are out of bud it's an absolute great option to just get going and know you'll have smoke pretty much on an exact date from sprout. And I love you can go 24/7 and 18/6 if you choose and it'll still flower. Does it yield more if you keep it on 24/7, or does that mess with it even tho it will still flower? I'd think it should see a dark cycle at least somewhat, so idk, I'd prob max go 18/6 and then since they are low yielding, I'd think CO2 enrichment would be great, as it'll really help plump up those nugs and pay for itself, and some.

Im pretty sure the joint doctor himself recommends 18/6. I think it's best to give them some dark time to rest.

Since I'm going to rock a small pc case, I was thinking of just making a quick co2 generator (sugar, water, yeast setup in a soda bottle). Do you think that will be enough in such a small space?

Maybe ... I've never done that in a small area and tested air quality to see how effecient that method is. Could be worth trying, but doesn't seem like it'd be the #1 option.

I just got my first auto-flowering seeds from Attitude today. I'm trying Dutch Passion - Polar Light because I really like the sativa highs. Polar Light is supposed be done in 9.5 to 10 weeks. That's fantastic for a mostly sativa. I'll post some pics when I can.

I've got 2 60 Day Wonder autoflowers going atm, 1 of them is 2ft tall
i really like this strain, easy to grow, huge calyxes and smells beautiful
i recommend it for anyone looking into autos ;)

My oldest one in the picture below smells very sweet like lollies/bubble gum and a hint of coffee, whereas the youngest one smells very piney and peppery not as pleasant as the oldest, but the smell gets better as the buds mature

I've grown la diva twice and they are great. Super sticky and a oz a plant easy.
If all you're getting is 1 oz/plant, wouldn't it just make sense to grow a regular strain, go the extra couple weeks, and get 3-4 oz/plant min? 300-400% increase in weight is worth the extra 20% flowering length, cuz if you add it all up on a calander you should be able to get much more annually that way. JUST MY OPINION THO. To each his own. :)

I am still very interested in autos, to say the least. I think they could be very handy during the winter. I am a greenhouse grower, and I have heard of a lot of GH growers who go indoors during the winter and leave all their equipment dormant and unused for half the year. And while doing my next cycle indoors only is my current plan as well, when I aquire more cards to caretake for I was thinking of doing something like this so that I can space things out a bit more and cycle more often...

Feb - Plant autoflower

April - Harvest autoflower ... AND ... Plant regular strains that finish around late Sept

Sept - Harvest larger girls ... AND ... Plant autoflowers

Nov - Harvest autoflowers ... AND ... Plant autoflowers

Jan - Harvest autoflowers ... AND THE CYCLE REPEATS ITSELF!!! :)

Now, if you compare that schedule of incorporating autoflowers around a larger grow with your non-autos, it seems you can increase productivity quite a bit AND grow year around. Obviously this will require the proper heaters and to grow in the winter where you can get dark, stormy days for a week or two at a time, I think it'd pretty much be a must to purchase one 1,000w outdoor/greenhouse HPS lamp per 100 sq ft and run them whenever the weather is bad. I guess the other cool part about them is that in the winter you will be facing freezing temps often and need the heat. Those lamps will provide an amble amount, reducing the frequency that your heaters will need to run.

If anyone has ever grown autos similar to the method I have described above, I am actually very curious how they grow outdoors during the winter. Did you use artificial greenhouse lighting or all natural? Did they reach close to full potential in yield?

ladiva hands down why people that dont grow this is crazy
SoA, your avatar is fucking hilarious! Props!

And yes, why people don't grow more is crazy. Although, if you are in a state that does not legally allow a medical marijuana program, then unfort I'd have to say I'd recommend buying small quantities 1oz or under (otherwise it goes from misdemenor to felony level posession) over growing, just because if you're in a state that does not allow medical marijuana, you're looking at 5-10k fines and 5-10 yrs maximum sentence pending on which state you're in and how big your op is, whether it's your first offense, ... Just not worth it.

One day it'll be legal nationwide ... One day :)
