To be honesy, not a single one of the RP/DNA fems I grew out hermied. They were picky, I did abuse them a bit, yet they still produced good bud. All the OG crosses I grew of theirs was low yielding (HGK, OG18, OG, Kosher) from multiple beans. Eta, I probably would do them better justice now, but I really have no interest in them anymore. So much more out there than OG

I have had great success with RP beans. I have some DNA but have not popped. At one time I know they were under the same umbrella. Don't know if they still are. I have done their Kandy, Sour, and Kosher! All 3 were just great. Potency was top notch. My Kosher that I'm currently smoking is just a mass of gooey resin. Burns forever in a bowl. And leave me relaxed in a great mood with a stupid grin on my face! My Sour Kush was great but little on the fluffy side. Very stinky and very potent. I grew out Kandy Kush in 2011 before I really knew how to train a plant. No topping, just LST'd under a 250 and it gave me 4 oz's. It was Trainwreck dominant and would rip your scalp off if you took too much.

I'm sold on the RP brand. Just order 6 more Koshers. The Tangie has my eye at the moment. We will see. So many seeds, so many choices! Nice dilemma to have though!!

I do think they have great parent stock, but it seems now they just keep crossing their crosses to one another. I think part of the problem is locking down traits that are not desirable (no vigor, picky and finicky).

Yes dna/RP still under the same umbrella.
And I've seen more than enough problems with their "great parent stock"lml! To know it's not that great.

You could have used regular beans and gotten the same amount of stable/worthy females...
ughhhhh, not to start this again but.......
i fully understand why it should be the same cance of hermie.
i've been growing(indoor) for more than 20 yrs, and when femminized seeds hit the scene, it was horrible! it has gotten a hella of allot better, BUT!
Now, dealing with solid breeders, and their regular beans, i sware i can't remember the last herm.

Two of my earliest 'great' plants was Confidential Cheese [RP] freebie and a Sour Cream[DNA] freebie. The only hermies I've ever had were 2 DNA - Lemon OGs about 6 months ago. In between then and now, Silver Kush and OG 18 were started and culled at about 3-4 wks for not keeping pace with the rest of the grow. I have a Kandy Kush currently on the edge of a bloom room at 7 wks, and I've debated killing it most every day for puniness. An RP Cole Train freebie made it to 4 weeks bloom before I executed it. I swear, whatever it was producing, it did not resemble marijuana at all. Dead serious.
