I grew out a pack a female seeds C99 a few years back, and loved it. I bought another pack for storage :).

I found an amazing mother plant and used it for my own cross as well, and the strain is total fire. Its C99(f)x SinmintCookies(m)

Why not just get the original?

Brothers Grimm C99 is currently available
I've wanted to try the Brothers grimm since they created the strain, but I've actually read a few negative reviews about this new release of Cinderella 99(that it wasn't the same). It was only a few things, and I can't corroborate them, just sharing what I read.

I remember reading about it so had to look it up, this is from their web site:

this line from KOS has two female phenotypes, at a ratio of approx 3:1 normal/citrus respectively. I used to think the citrus pheno was 1 in 8 females, but it is in fact more prevalent than that. The citrus pheno will yield slightly less, and her flowers are more elongated than the normal phenotype. The smells of the citrus pheno can range from grapefruit to pineapple depending on what you feed her and how you grow her. That citrus pheno is also noticeably higher in resin production and smoking her will really spin your melon big; but all the females are sugar coated and deadly potent. The normal phenos smell to me like overripe figs, strongly. Flavors from both phenos are stunning and strong.

I grew out one of the new Bros Grimm c'99 and it was all skunky funk with no sweetness. Yield was nice but it took longer to flower than the FS version by about a week and a half. One is a small sample size so take it for what it's worth. I've grown Southern Oregon seeds version as well and I still prefer the FS version. In all I've grown over 20 of the FS c'99, it's one of my personal favorites, and it's always sweet with a hint of cheese on the back end.

Try there sexbud, it's a reworked version of the c-99. I love it, faster flowering as well because they have made it into a fast version by applying a auto jack herrer to the mix.
