Best christmas present recieved

i bought a hornby trainset from TRU for my 5 year old one year i stuck the track to a 6x4ft board and made a tunnel out of some expanding foam and chicken wire and painted it up it took me about a week a ball ache of a job
christmas morning my boys eyes nearly popped out of his head and he could hardly catch his breath
that is my best present, i can still see that look on his face ten years later priceless

Last year when my husband came home from Iraq, on Christmas eve.
I still cry when I think about it.

My little boy is 4 and all he wants is the ICE AGE 3 DVD! Last year we got him his first bike and he said he likes walking better!!! So this year its lots of little things, he loves books, jigsaws, modeling clay etc. Oh yes and every little boys dream wrapping paper and boxes!!!

we had a plastic xmas tree one year, the box it came in was like a canoe, me and my sister paddled round our lounge for days in that box lol happy days

Well thought i was going not to have an x-mas this year! I lost my job in oct, but found a new one but only just started last week.My neighbor of mine has bought gifts and for the last 3 weeks keeps bring us tons on grocery like meat eggs etc good stuff. We were that close of friends with her but i know her grandma forever and the amount of generosity from this woman is almost unheard of these days so good bless people like her makes you realize what christmas is really about.
