Check this deal out! http://thegardendepotinc.com/co10waswsy.html

This is probably the best deal I have ever seen on a high quality complete system. This package includes the lens and the cord too. I have never ordered from this place before but I called and talked to Blake, the guy that runs the place and he seemed super cool. FYI, The shipping calculator on the website is messed up, so if you order, call him and get shipping fixed or it will be way too much. His prices are already the absolute lowest anywhere so don't haggle, but you can get a break on shipping compared to what it says online.

Happy growing!

P.S. sorry if this is considered spam. I just thought it was too good of a deal not to share with as many ppl as possible. I wish I had found this deal earlier before I already got setup!

I think it's pretty much indefinitely. I asked him if it was a limited time sale today and he said that is pretty much his regular price. If I had found his website a month ago I'd have bought 4 of these! And, it's not just this system that is affordable, check out the other deals on his site. $250 ez clone 60. $125 4ft/4bulb HO T5. $69 1000w hortilux hps bulbs. Blake is my new hydro guy!

If that's the website he was talking about then you have to add on $35 for the hortilux bulb and $80 for a decent reflector (LumeCool) that you can vent. I think the Xtrasun system is better quality and if comparably spec'd with equivalent bulbs and reflectors, lower priced.

 o yes it is :blsmoke:
I forgot to call today. I highly doubt it includes the tank though. Tanks are $100-$150 by themselves...

If it doesn't include the tank, it's priced about $50 higher than other online hydro places.

Thanks for the + rep!

Yeah the Xtrasun stuff is Hydrofarm's budget line, so you know it's decent quality. And garden depot offers a 5yr warranty on the ballasts they sell.

It comes with switchable, convertible 1000w Xtrasun ballast w/120 or 220v power cord, xtrasun AC reflector w/plug, glass lens and one hortilux hps bulb. In the picture it shows 1 bulb and 1 box.

Be sure and call to order so you don't get overcharged for shipping online.

Well ive seen lots of lights ( 1000 watters) 150 175...... All on craigslist.org
yeah there is a lot of stuff on craigslist too but you have to be careful buying used stuff. could be unsafe, could also be unworking. but I wouldn't be above buying on CL personally. I check there from time to time also.

yes, i too use craiglist. but theres a feeling i get in the pit of my stomach when im using "used" goods. right now 2 of my lights are used from craigslist, 45 bones a piece. sometimes i wonder if they are as bright as my new lights....id rather buy new for a few extra twenties, because at the same time im also buying confidence in my equipment, and that translates into confidence in my garden.

I just spoke with Blake because they didn't have some items on their site that I thought would be there. He said that they are so new and so busy it is taking a lot of time to get everything updated, so if you need anything just call. He was extremely personable, said he wants my business, repeat customers, etc. I also asked about shipping since I'm in Atlanta, most things from California, especially big stuff (hoods, ballasts) the shipping often kills the deal. However, he said he has warehouses in Florida and Tennessee too and the estimated shipping cost for what I wanted was very reasonable. He claims he is only passing along actual shipping charges, nothing more.

I definitely am placing an order with him. The Lumatek ballast/hood combination I wanted was going to be about $40 less than the cheapest ebayer or other online shops.
