Best Drying Method

1. Should I dry on a rack...such as the one advanced nutrients has in their product line?

or

2. Should I hang them upside down and cut off the major fan leaves so that the nutrients drain into the buds. ------- or am I supposed to do this anyways and then cut the buds off and put them on the rack?

Kinda of a newb question I can imagine..but this is my first grow and i'm harvesting soon.

trim trim...or just like a basic trim before drying. I could look on the interent and find answers i'm sure..but i want to hear people methods.

So say.. I hang upside down for a two week..cut the buds off and throwem on the rack for another two weeks ... then putem in jars.
(I just made this up.....but does that sound like an adeaquate drying plan)

or whats best way in your opinion or experience to get the best and DANKiest buddsss??

Very nice tutorial. I do have one question tho.

I notice you trim your buds completely before you hang them. Wouldn't it be a better idea if you just trimmed the major leaves and most of the minor leaves and then hang them upside down...so the nutrients from what is still in the stems and flowering leaves drip into the budss. --- or would the flowering leaves consume the nutrients like the budss would ... therefore taking it away from them.

Hanging upside down doest cause the nutrients to drain into the buds.

Trim your buds, Hang upside down for 1-2 weeks (until the outside feel crispy but the stems do not totally snap) then start curing them in mason jars

my post already spoke from 4 years of experience ...
Right..but if your hang drying...should you trim the buds to where you want them to be when you smoke or should you leave them "as is" with only the "flowering leaves" still around/attached to them.

Do the nutrients from the flowering leaves drain into the buds when hang drying?? or steal the nutrients.

Haven't heard a clear answer on this yet? someone? please..

Curing is what you should be asking about because this is what makes the "dankiest" bud ...

hang upside down until the bud feels crispy but not completly dry ..when the stem makes a snapping noise instead of bending is when i usually start to cure.

Triming wet vs dry is a prefrence some ppl like to do it when their bud is wet other feel its easier when the bud drys
as long as you pull off all the major fan leaves you can do it either way

or better yet.

What parts of the plant can you use for hash. Can I just chop the whole fuckin thing down and shove the plant in a blender with ice and filter it to make hash...seriously..can I?
