1 - If you are growing your plants indoors always give your plants some shade when in the hot summer times because not all plants like direct or hot sun.
2 - When you are growing herbs or some kind of fruit baring plants try to keep them away from other plants because herbs like mint and such and fruit baring plants like strawberry plants can be invasive and can take over your whole garden and choke out your other plants.

Mint is a weed in every sense of the word. It should be grown in pots and sunk into the ground. For maintenance' sake it's easier to separate your veggies and def your herbs. I'm a big proponent of raised beds.

Look at your leafs! The health of the plant and nearly every problem it could be experiencing is expressed through the leafs like sign language.

it is better to underwater than it is to over water!! you should always way till the soil dries out pretty good before watering it again.. if it just says sopping wet the whole time it will have high chance of rot/mold

If you want to grow fruits , herbs , veggies and such in the same area make sure you give them their own separate spot because each kind requires different amount of food , light and such. Also Make sure that you pot invasive kinds of plants.

i would say to understand how certain plants interact with each other. there are certain things that if planted together are known to work against each other, and there are combos that are known to be benificial to each other. understanding root competition goes a long way if planting multiple veggies. avoid planting near trees.

Best gardening tips are,
1. Grow weed-less,
2. Go organic,
3. Switch to raised beds,
4. Try heirloom varieties,
5. Stretch your growing seasons.

These 3 advice is very good.

Raised beds are easer to work with because you don't have to dig up the ground every year
Organic is always the best to grow.
Stretching your gardening season can be done easily. If you grow lettuce since it can take around 45 days from seed to harvest you can plant 1 once a day, once a week or even once every 2 weeks. Where I live I can grow lettuce out side in the spring , summer and fall. Some places you can grow then year round. If you want to make a little more money buy the bulk lettuce seeds and you can grow and sell them to make a lot of money back on them since a bulk pack has 100+ seeds in each.

Another very good tip is to always buy your seeds in bulk because its cheaper to do and if you grow or stat them indoors you can replace what you have growing out side with ones that already have a head start.

After slicing your clone at a 45 degree angle, use your razor and split the bottom so it has 2 ends/prongs. This exposes more surface area to develop roots. This can be done on all plants to speed up cloning and to achieve better results.

its better to do things to keep pests away and your plants well fed, cuz most problems are better solved with prevention, its also easier on your plant cuz fighting against pests hurts your plants too
