best indoor hps light?

im useing a t5 set up right now, but people are telling me to use a hps light, and i will get a much bigger yield. so i would like to know what is a good hps light set up to go with? :confused:

How big of a light are you looking for? Going cheap or quality? If you want something of high quality get one with an electronic ballast this will also allow you to change out to a MH if you like. Electronic ballasts provide 30% more light, reach peak brightness faster, and have longer bulb lives as opposed to magnetic ballasts. And yes you will get a much bigger yeild, no more light and fluffy buds just tight nugs.:mrgreen:

im looking for a cheap but good hps light. im growing three plants in a storage cabinet. whats a good name brand light system to look at? shhould i get a 400w, 600w, or 1000w?

my cabinet is 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide and 20 inches deep. will a 400w hps work better then my t5 set up? and is it worth it?

Yes, the hps will be better. You may be better off with a smaller light. That 400 watt HPS will throw some heat in that confined space unless you properly vent it.

Yeah I agree 400 watt will work fine in that space and you will need proper ventilation :peace:
