DIY!!!
I know the parts aren't the cheapest thing they could get to work. I get to pick my spectrum. I know the person building it actually cared and wasn't just trying to get another fixture done. I know every connection so I can change anything and fix anything and not worry about screwing it up.

Im not going to pitch a company to you. Instead ill tell you why i love my l.e.d of choice. First off it actually pulls the amount of watts that is advertised on the box, not like 50 watts less or more. Next and most important, i mean go ahead and burn me for a few watts as long as your spectrum is on point and i can dim that shit. So ive seen graphs of my spectrum and can dim that shit. Lastly, a white view mode similar to florescent is always nice to have. I also prefer that a legitimate american horticultural business with researches and scientists make my product (noobs- im not talking about some random guy with none off that and a 2 dollar website). Along with that i love having a phone number to call that has extension lines depending on your question and someone who can answer questions for me on the spot like "if i turn my blue all the way up by itself how many watts will it use?" And getting an answer on the spot. When it comes to scientific shit you should be on point like this, its not like were buying bowl or something.

Here are some of the major players in LED & I've listed them in order of personal preference.
BML, Area 51, HeavensBright, Tasty Led, Timber, Amare & Apache...
Who do you like & who did I leave out??

When you're in here press the back button and look at the threads. That might work
I think that EVERYONE here already realizes that most posts have already been posted b4...
There are some benefits to re-posting rather than just reading from a previous post however!!

What do you want to know?
What led/cob we prefer?
Or what led/cob commercial panel we prefer?
It is for what size of growbox?
Is it for vegg bloom both?
Why do you want to skip to cob? Or maybe it is a first buy?

Yes like heavenbright, gogreenled, tastyled, Johnsongrowlight. ..and more and more every day in other countries too...proof that it is very good stuff and most those companies...and for sure the one we named use good components...the same...so it is a question of prices or a question of design color shape power availability...it is up to you!

And if you told us why you want to skip to led and the size of the space you plan to light with cob!??
And is it for vegg bloom or both?
To give you an idea of the price and yields!

If you have less heat and more light...most of the time it is expensive! (If you want to stay at 50% efficiency and more...160/180lm/w)
And going from 0.7gpw to 1.4 will pay for the difference in prices in 1 grow...!
I had to make 4 crop a year to smoke every day...now it will 2...the third will be for fun...!

I'm trying a Spectrum King 400 on a Blue Donkey Dick as we speak. I'll let you know. Before that I ran Blackstar Chrome and a CLW 400. Both are serious lights and flower well, (I am not an expert grower by any means). Don't know who makes the best though.
