70w-100w hps inside a PC well vented, will be sweet. I've seen someone put a 70w Hps inside a PC before.
I heard a 70w hps will get you atleast 1 oz. Not sure dried or not.

Putting a 70w hps is sweet with good ventilation probably using a cooling tube. Otherwise for a PC grow I'd suggest CFLs but if you are really shooting for yield then by all means tinker with the hps, it will be putting out some mean heat.

The hotter the cab the larger and louder the fan(s) you'll need to manage the heat. If stealth is paramount a loud fan can be a deal killer.

I would recommend CFL' for your PC grow, you wont have a lot of area youll need to cover with light, CFL's will be the way to go.

If you're going to even attempt using a HPS get at least a 3 PC fans at 80+ CFM. Two for exhaust, 1 for intake. Normal PC fans are usually 30-50 CFM so you'll probably have to shell out a little more money and they will for sure be a lot louder. Would be pretty cool to see if it worked though.

Actually I have no heap problems. I was able to get the back of my hand almost touching the bulb and it wasn't to hot. It put out not alot more heat then a 45w CFL or 2. I would say you should run a custom cool tube or a custom hood for it. Line the PC case with Mylar that gives you as close to 100% reflective as possible and you should have a very good end result.

I have had 1 flowering under my 70w HPS it was decent. The ballast can get hot to the touch so you would need to have it out side the case and a small fan blowing on it

For $150 you can get the Blackstar 100w LED (around 50-60w real draw), 7 inch diameter fits in any PC and you can supplement with a CFL or two

Yea well I don't order stuff online so buying a LED Panel wasn't a choice also when I bought my gear LED panels that were made for growing weren't very good. Can a 100w LED panel give you the same yield as a 70w HPS on its own? If not there's no point if you have to use LED and CFLs at the same time use more power and yet around the same yield or less them the 70w HPS.
