"POWER:

Total Wattage: 1260 W

PAR Wattage: 620 W

PPF: 2880 μmol/s "

=2.28μmol/j

Looking at the other lights the 3vl and red wood details say 2.25μmol/j. but the fatty is 2.33μmol/j when its just 3 x 3vl's going by the pics/wattage provided. what am i missing?

How can this be 1260w with 12 vero29 cs ? wheres that extra 60w coming from.Driver losses using 3x480 drivers?

Still new at this and trying to learn can someone correct me here please its doing my head in?
My 300 watt timber pulls 330 from the wall... 300 cob watts + 30 watts for the driver..

Fatty VS +
1200 Watt, 2 Channel, LED grow light fixture featuring Vero29 Generation 7 COB LEDs. Ideal for growing indoors in a greenhouse, tent or over a farming table. Using best-of-breed components the Fatty VS+ is quite literally the best of everything. The unit comes fully assembled (as shown) and ready to hang.

Two channels feature 800 watts on the primary and 400 watts on the secondary channel, or 600 watts on each channel, allowing the grower the ultimate spectrum blending control from seed/clone to harvest. The light comes with two dimmers, one controlling 6-8 COBs, and 1 controlling 4-6 COBs, giving the grower the ability to adjust the intensity of the power output and blend it between two different spectrum/color temperatures to achieve the perfect spectral output for each day of your plant's life.

Your choice of color temperatures on both channels give you the ultimate in customization.

They are on it and helpfull with the answers ,cant knock there customer service but im still a little confused how the same lights can run at different efficacys .ill have to test some myself.

2.33μmol/j
Might wanna ask Dan if that's the projected or deffinet # & if it was figured @ full power or dimmed. I doubt he would say it at a dimmed # cuz he seams pretty honest & up front from what I gather. Although there are comp. out there saying redic Umol/J #'s based on the fixture at a dimmed wattage. Beware. Which really isn't fair to the consumer.

If you want to see one of the very bestest lights of "18", stop by my thread LED vs. HPS growing later tonight. Got another surprise.

Hello @hybridway2

Good to see you again, hope all is well. The numbers listed on our website are at full power - there was a small typo which has been fixed in the total power draw as well as PPF number as shown updated below:

POWER:

Total Wattage: 1200 W

PAR Wattage: 600 W

PPF: 2795 μmol/s

BTW - the claim, as stated on all of our product pages, is "....best of everything...." with reference to our selection of components. It is impossible to make an objective claim of being the best light.

Hope this clears matters up a little bit.

Have a good day.

Best Regards,
Dan

Hello @key4

Thank you for your post. We are basically connecting (3) of our 4VL lights together to create one light, the Fatty VS+. It uses the same components as the 4VL, with multiple channels of control, for spectrum mixing and control over different color temperature output/intensity.

As with all of our lights, these are custom built to the growers spec with regards to numbers of channels as well as color mixing using, in this case, the Vero29 Gen7 COBs.

The rationale behind the introduction of this light is to provide the grower looking to achieve PPFD of greater than 1000 µmol/m²s over a 5'x5' area.

If you or anyone has any additional questions and/or feedback, please post on this thread or dm/email me direct at [email protected].

Have a good evening.

Best Regards,
Dan
