that is just your opinion; not fact.




HID lighting is the best light to use for growing marijuana. A metal halide bulb (veg) and hps bulb (flowering) would be ideal. CFL's are great lights that are cheap that can be used from seed to bud. Just dont expect the results that you would get with HID lighting. CFLs are sold everywhere walmart,lowes,homedepot, etc.

Oh yeah and if you want HID lighting the best way to go is with a digital ballast.

It depends on your situation as to which bulb is best to go the whole way through.

If you are growing in a small closet and are growing for a personal grow a 1000w solarmax bulb is probably going to be the worst bulb.

First off you need to work out how many plants you want to grow, how much space you have and what kinda budget your willing to throw at this.

After that we can help you figure out which bulb is going to be the best for you.

3-4 plants in a closet and going to let them grow to be about 3 feet each....not concerned with money

me personally i would go with a 250 or 400w hps bulb, get one that has more blue spectrum.

400w HPS or MH minimum. Anything less will just frustrate you... Whats the point in putting in the same amount of effort and risk for less results. If money wasnt an issue, i would get a 1000w MH for veg, and 1000w HPS for flowering (and about 4 hot strippers dancing full time for CO2 generation).

HID is the way to go git an AGRO bulb it is like a mix of MH and HPS that is what i use it has given me good results.
