Peak Seeds is a pretty good representation. Joey Weeds is really good too. Bodhi released an open pollination a few years back. I've got maybe 5 different breeders of NL still in my bank, some are from circa 1990's :)
I bet those are fire. I'm running a 90s purps right now that I'm pretty stoked about. She was purple coming out of the soil.

I'm hoping so mate, I'm keen to work the line to get it out there!! That purps sounds good too hey!
I've got some purple thai that I would love to cross to the NL so fingers crossed!!

I'm growing some 00 seeds Northern lights at the moment. 3 seeds. Two look ok and the other is extremely nice.

Ignore the plant on the front left that's not a NL. Plants on the right and back left are.

Thanks Easty. Really stinky, Flowers are super dense but I have had cool lights off to help that and they smell heavy skunky lemon with a touch of lime. Super sticky.

Very nice!
Looks by the shape and nug structure, that it could be a solid example.
Only the smoke will tell you....
Pungent, piney, hashy, skunky, some sort of spice! A little berry/fruit if Nl#5.
But even better, is the effect!!!
If you get a Nl#1 dominant plant, the stone should be powerful!! A forceful, narcotic experience! That can make you clumsy, confused and paranoid!
Love that stone!
The Nl#5, on the other hand, is very powerful, but it brings on feelings of euphoria, happiness and the most calming stress relieving warm blanket wrapped around you, ever!!

She should also be super vigorous!

I had an NL#5 about 20 or so years ago i think it was from british columbia seed company won it in a contest long time ago on the CC forums. It glistened with crystals not like today where you see chunks of crystals that look like white sugar it was like glistening water, real weird. I made seeds but i was never able to find that specific one again and waited to long to keep hunting pretty sure they all duds now. But everything i have tried now days white label and sensi and others don't seem anything like it they are extremely leafy and dont have the short stocky structure at all nothing like what i had back then.
Now i made crosses with NL#5 to other strains like the original bubbleberry before they lost it, it will ooze sap like a maple tree and almost remind me of that northern lights glisten.
I had a Super Kush i won as well from back then only plant i have ever grown the pistils where pink right from the start blew my mind. Oh what i wouldnt give to have some of the seeds i had in my basket 20 years ago. I Still have a bottle of of 200 seeds of the NL#5 i crossed to itself from 20 years ago but i think they are all duds anytime i get one to sprout it turns out to be a boy. Havent tried in about 4 years and thinking about it again makes me wanna go try and sprout some more again lol. sorry for rambling

If you can a BCSC copy i think that's your best bet i dont think sensi releases anything like what it was and i heard they only cross nl#5 into stuff but not actually to itself for resell.

interesting history there bro...i dont think anyone could accuse you of rambling with 123 messages since 2009? but i think its true with a lot of the old classics like NL in that they get watered down or original parent stock lost/stolen, Romulan & AK47 to name a couple

I still have a pack of NL from BCSC, I had 2 and tried to pop one and had none germ. If I can find a way to get these ones to pop, I'm happy to do an open pollination!

Yeah man, they sure do! Looked into them a while back and found out they crossed all their big strains to ruderalis.

??? i thought i read somewhere you were swearing off growing and were finished with it all?
My mrs told me to give it away. I don't grow any more but I'm hoping once I move I can do a couple small outdoories. I need smoke hey, can't be fucked buying shit!

Edit- I also kept all my breeding stock hidden so still have my old stuff!
