Best nutrients and soil for an auto-flower?

So I want to start my first grow and the first strain I'm growing is "60 day wonder" and I've been watching some videos on it and from what I've seen, nutrients make a big difference. I have a few questions:
1. How much does soil matter / How do I choose a soil?
2. What kind of nutrients / fertilizer should I use for veg and when should I start using it?
3. What nutrients / fertilizer would be best for flowering?
By the way I'm on a tight budget, I put most of my money into the grow setup.
Any other tips would also be appreciated :D

Since no one is really taking a stab at this, I will give you what I think is advice, lol. I am in no way a veteran grower. Call me an amateur at most.

A lot of people love the Fox Farms Ocean forest, a simple search on soil will tell you this, but it seems like a pretty "hot" soil. Hot soil is just soil with a lot of nutrients already in the soil, meaning it can potentially hurt your plant via nutrient burn early in the life stage. Some people put about a party cup sized portion of seed starter soil in with the Ocean forest so that the seed can grow a bit before receiving all the good nutrients early on. Also, it is smart to mix perlite with your soil so that oxygen can get to your roots between waterings and it makes the water drain better. I used Fox Farms Happy Frog (comes in a brown bag). It has a lot of good stuff in it, i.e. bat guano, mycorrhizae, worm castings, etc. I mixed the Happy Frog 50/50 with perlite. It seems to be doing good and I didn't use nutes until midweek 3. Keep in mind you can make your own soil too. a lot of people do, just do some research.

Now with nutrients. Ugh, there is soooooo much research you can do. Everyone has different experiences and uses different nutes. I have been using Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice line. It isn't overly expensive and can be compared to General Hydroponics nutrients. It consists of micro (trace minerals and nutrients for supplementation, also a higher nitrogen level is in this), grow (higher potassium levels for growing, also bits of nitrogen too), bloom(no nitrogen, higher levels of potassium and phosphorus for the buds). Another supplementation I would recommend is a calcium magnesium supplement. It is very important in autoflowers.
