Best orange flavor strain?

Anyone got experience with an orange strain? I lucked into a sweet orange tasting strain of unknown origin and I think it would be a good candidate for my first breeding attempt... I need some advice if you got it - thanks.

The original cali-o clone, agent orange, tangerine haze, this one clone a friend used to have back in the day called norcal crypt, that strain was so hard to keep in veg I had to drop her. Always wanted to flower.

Jilly bean is the purest orange I've smelled/taste in a while. Agent orange is good too. Anything with TGA orange velvet seems get the orange passed down.

Thanks for all the responses! Anybody else got a great strain to nominate? I'm leaning to Agent Orange and Jilly Bean :)

Its a toss up there are a couple nice orange phenos of Jilly Bean and candystore definitely has some satsuma orange flavor for sure imo, however, C-plus from Chimera is extremely close to the taste and smell of the real orange soda C-Plus. If I had to pick one it would be the cali-O pheno of C-Plus from Chimera seeds.

hey, cool! never heard of C-plus. i was looking into cali-o myself and was going considering agent orange until i was reminded of it's name being a chemical warfare reference. i've always wanted to marry a nice orange flavored strain to lemony malawi gold. i'll have to bookmark C-plus and try that. i've heard the breeder get some positive feedback here and there and i'm always looking to try a new breeder's gear.

i was starting to consider dutch passion's cali-o, but recently read a thread mentioning hermies were a problem from them. high quality seeds has an orange strain too, but they don't specifically mention orange flavor.

thanks for the heads up. sorry, but at the moment, i can't give out any more rep, but the C-plus suggestion is greatly appreciated. orange is one of my favorite fruit flavors. back before wasting around $70 on vancouver island bullshit burmese that was nothing but aborts and mutants, i wanted to make an improved "skunk #1" that's trippy and orange flavored with cali-o and malawi, but i don't trust any breeder that has burmese. holy smoke's malawi seems promising though.

i agree, it is a shame when great strains like orange krush go extinct, at least in the seed market, but if it was that good, i bet someone's preserved it somewhere. it's too bad there isn't a situation where indy growers were gifting extinct strains to breeders to preserve the genetics. there's a lot of great stuff that should be on the market.

now to go bookmark C-plus before i forget it. i probably thought it was critical plus the last time i skimmed past it. oh... attitude doesn't carry chimera. that's why it's been off my radar. maybe hemp depot carries them. OK, that's where i saw their gear. i might get it along with the beanho super silver haze x pure chitral kush hybrid that's supposed to be trippy and cherry flavored to compare with my buddha's sister which should just be stony.

No prob sir. I must say that the way you speak of Jacks Cleaner 2 has influenced me to purchase a 10 pack to try this winter.
C-Plus is extremely stable and is a good producer for the quality of cannabis. The cross is DJ Short's Sativa Blueberry male to the legendary Cali-O 30 year old mother.
Heres a link to where you can actually buy some still, surely some of the last packs that will ever be available. http://hempdepot.ca/seeds/chimera/C Plus.htm
I'll post some pics when I do a grow report post on the C-Plus.

yeah, i already dropped by the depot and bookmarked it. that's where i used to get my C99 from and have been looking for another strain to add to my shopping list to make it worth my time placing another order along with the beanho SSH1 x PCK.

i really hope you enjoy the JC2. i tell you, it put an ear to ear grin on me right away. i think jack the ripper would be more to my tastes were it not for the name i find offensive, but for all the fun JC2 dishes in just 9 weeks, i'm not complaining. i'm keen to try their third dimension next. there's a couple haters out there, but as good as the only strain i've sampled from TGA & Subcool (2 beeders) is, i believe all of the people that rave and that they do select only the best cuttings and offspring for their hybrids.

please do let me know how you like it as i'm ALWAYS looking for more "fuck you!" ammo for the trolls that try and say i lie. i'll stake my reputation that JC2 will make you smile right here and now, and will bookmark this shit! i KNOW how hard it can be to find a good strain that gets you high when in many places, no one can pull a decent smoke report out of their ass to save their life and thinks all that matters is pics and boring grow room stats.

i literally wasted almost a YEAR at an extinct forum begging and pleading for ACCEPTABLE smoke reporting and/or comparisons between C99, A11 & super silver haze when everyone was telling me to go with apollo & SSH, but i just wasn't hearing it because they'd been associated with stone and i was about sick and tired of nothing but afghanis. if i could, i go back and tell myself to get some jack herer and that it's a perfectly functional hybrid.

next time i grow it, it will be under halides and i'm hoping the bud and flavor improve even more as sodiums don't allow full terpene expression.

i'm really psyched that you trusted my advice enough to plop $100 of your money down for it. if i lied about the quality, call me out in front of god and everyone! i PROMISE YOU, unless you live in so-cal or know some growers that have real love for their gear over profits, you've not likely ever bought anything that good.

you just made my fucking day man! really! i know in my heart i've helped you find at least a really great strain if not the very best. it's the best i know all around with sweet haze & haze skunk being a little fussier, but compensating with more motivation and fruitier flavor or more potency. they all kick ass though.

prove me fucking right buddy!

Yes but thats not to say there isnt great pot now strength and appearance have blown me away, I just believe it had more pure qualities 15-20 years ago, the strains actually lived up to the name not just a little faint characteristics left behind on the last 2 seconds of an exhale... The orange strains i have tried lately are weak they sure smell like orange but the taste doesnt equate... its all good just a hunting game i guess.....
