Best plant to grow alongside weed?

Hi all~

I am wondering if anyone knows about a good plant to grow in alongside weed in a tent(I have the six allowable by law but extra space and pots), maybe flowers or some kind of fruit/veggie? Does anybody have any experience with this? Thanks!

part of my new interest is because this is my first time growing anything really and watching the little babies grow up makes me want to watch some other kind of plants grow too. i really look forward to my daily routine check and watching the plants grow, and thought i could get a similar satisfaction out of growing some other stuff too ya know?

Perhaps plants that grow kind of lower that would not be bothered by big weed leafs covering over them..
