Best Sativa strains from Nirvana

Yea, I will probably go with Attitude for the order, as they offer a guaranteed delivery and freebies.
Dang, so sorry I don't have more experience with them. I have grown 3 of their strains, and all were nice. I broke my cherry ordering from Nirvana actually. Jock Horror is my vote, but that's the only strain I have grown from your choices. :weed:

Ablaze, what can you tell me about Jock Horror, I read that it has a bit of a skunk taste, a very up heady high, and is fairly easy to grow? Oh and what other Nirvana strains have you tried?

I have the same questions as you my friend newbie. I don't know about what "haze", "skunk" or even "blue" tastes like.

Jock Horror was a much more powerful smoke than Jack Herrer. It was also very easy to grow in soil. I did grow them both together, that is to say at the same time. They were of my first grows.

But for consistency, their northern light strain had a double cola for every seed. A few weeks later I also grew their crystal.

Jock Horror made my laugh. I am still searching for a great strain that makes me laugh and tastes great.

I don't have much exprience with Nirvana but did order and grow their Maui Waui which was sativa dom and was very good. I also order a couple of other strains sorry don't recall the strains off hand but wasn't too happy with them. I just wasn't happy with the genetics but I did receive everything I ordered, the germ rate was good so overall I guess they were OK. I have ordered from sannies ever since though and I am personally much happier with the strains being just what was advertised.
Good Luck with your grow

i don't know about nirvana blueberry, but REAL blueberry is euphoric & stony and has a VERY subtle taste exactly like if you had a single grain of artificial blueberry sugar on your tongue. it's better than most street crap, but far from "the best strain in the world" which it got the most votes for in a top 10 strains thread i counted votes for. haze wasn't far behind and the grape taste of super cali haze is more authentic & delicious with a much funner buzz to boot.

Jock Horror made my laugh. I am still searching for a great strain that makes me laugh and tastes great.

if you want a REALLY fruity & euphoric strain, check jilly bean out. it's fruity & super happy. it sounds too stoney for my taste.

while it didn't make me laugh, super cali haze has plenty of euphoria going on and a delicious taste.

if you want a SPEEDY euphoric buss you can't sit still on, i loved the crushed red pepper taste of original kali mist. it's been recrossed with some fruity strain and is just spicy now, but the buzz was a lot like a glowing happy mushroom buzz with a speed rush.

check TGA's gear. i saw references to a few strains that have euphoria and his stuff ranges from speedy & trippy to knock you out stony, so you should be able to find exactly the buzz you're looking for and it seems like everyone loves everything of his though i stay as far away from couchlock as possible.

Yea, not looking for the couchlock thing at all. something happy, giggly, get up and do something, and trippy are what I am looking for.

check TGAs gear out. he has some of the fastest flowering "haze type" gear and i've read that his sativas are for real. i can't wait to test jack's cleaner 2 myself to see if it really is tripper than haze skunk which kicks much ass, but still isn't as trippy as columbian gold which was almost a strippy as the pissweak watered down & hits of acid it took for me to have a MILD trip when i was planning on at least 4 trips up to 8 of them.

if you'd like to read up on the sativa dominant strains i've tried and their individual personalities, check my smoke report thread out.
https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/479365-indoor-strains-get-you-high.html

you can get a nice range of flavors & highs out of all that stuff. i didn't list skunk #1 because it was so stoney with zero psychoactivity that it pissed me off.

if you're out for a really trippy strain, someone described sannies' killing fields as "talk to your dog trippy". i just can't stand names that are celebrations of murder, otherwise, i'd try that one in a heartbeat. sannies' gear, like TGA's gets nothing but raves. i don't have personal experience with either breeder yet, but most of the strains i compared in that thread i linked to aren't shabby to downright freakin' awesome and more than good enough for me and i totally hate most of the crap you see on the streets, so i AM a fussy smoker.

as long as a strain doesn't make me tired & slow me down, i'm happy with anything from just euphoric all the way up through trippy or speedy. i love 8 miles high. it has neutral energy and playful euphoria and doesn't kick your ass like really potent shit can when you do that "one toke over the line" thing from that song.

if you wanna get high... i wanna add you to my buddy list! i like that! i want to see as many people chasing that as possible to push indicas back where they belong... at less than 50% market saturation minimum instead of 95%+

I am not sure with all the breeders out there why anyone would bother spending any amount of money on Nirvana seeds. As a whole they are sub par genetics with no stability whatsoever. All of their seeds are massed produced with zero quality control and that is why they can offer seeds so cheap. Cheap saeeds are cheap for a reason.

true, nirvana's gear isn't going to embarrass any top breeders' stuff, but it's dirt cheap and good for cutting your teeth on and has great viability as long as you don't touch their fems and autos which i've only seen complaints for. personally, if i had the time and space to grow it, their sativa seeds' line full moon could possibly be my favorite strain as it totally lives up to the pain in the ass IBL traits highland thai is known for, but also the awesome ones like being trippy and in the one i fought with that turned hermie & got cut down (thai does that), it had a delicious tutti fruity flavor that gives me a woodie just thinking about it.

i've seen many happy growers that have grown nirvana gear and their white rhino in particular has been a few noob growers' favorite smokes ever. i bet mr nice's original medicine man it's based on is much better, but come on... there's a big difference between $25 & $100.

then there's the shady douchebags out there reselling the entire nirvana line as originals for $50 or even $75!

my current favorite strain so far is high quality seeds' haze skunk which is super potent and has a fair amount of trippy psychoactivity with nice motivation and euphoria with less fun but not deal breaking lead eye and mild cigar wrapper flavor, but i'd bet a nickel that nirvana's H19 skunk (possibly sativa seeds' haze #1 now) is even better as that one was CLEARLY more sativa growing & looking and i'd take THAT $25 strain over ANY stoney mid by any dealer at any price any day.

i'm hoping that TGA subcool's jack's cleaner 2 though lives up to it's rep as it's poised to be my new favorite.

bottom line, if you ONLY like getting high like me, nirvana/sativa seeds' best sativas walk all over and take a dump on ANYTHING anyone else is producing that isn't a sativa. blueberry, considered the best in the world by many, does NOT impress me at all.

Smells like skunk who really is the ignorant one? I'm buying 20 dollar a seed stuff and your seeds r 20 dollars. I've grown weed since 1993. U prob were whacking it to the Kmart bra ads still. I first bought nirvana seeds in 1998 the northern lights and k2. Garbage. Thank god I bought spice of life federation and sensi seeds stuff too but the nirvana shit hermied and I got rid of it. I tried them again in 2004 with ok results. And nowadays they are mediocre at best, the ak48 is ok. Their blue mystic is mediocre, bubblicious ok. Very unstable genetics. I'm growing bubba kush, ace of spades, Chernobyl, dairy queen, starbud, headband, snowdawg, chemdawg. Who really smells like skunk? And greenhouses stuff is apothecary genetics grape ape x pink og kush, and 91 chemdawg. The Lemon haze is a daytime functioning high. Uplifting and euphoric. A true sativa like this thread is about. U get in what u put in and cheap garbage yields cheap garbage. Spend some cash and do some research and tell me that ur nirvana shit is as good as headband or chemdawg. And me spamming for arjan doubtful I don't like repping them much less spamming. Tga subcool is who I'd rep. Tell me skunk they suck too, nirvanas better I suppose. Tightwad.

OK I have narrowed my original list down to 3:

Eldorado
Haze #1
Full Moon

I eliminated Jock Horror and Royal Flush simply because I didn't want any Northern Light phenos cropping up. Not that there is anything wrong with NL, just don't want it in my Sativa. Even though both Jock and Royal really intrigue me, based on their descriptions.

At this point I think I am leaning towards Full Moon, but am afraid that the high maybe too trippy, and not energetic enough. I like the descriptions of the highs from both Haze #1, and Edlorado, but the yields seem like they might be small with the Haze, and the Eldorado is a landrace which apparently from my little knowledge is something that you might not want indoors.

Any thoughts and experience with these strains, please feel free to comment. Also if you think my logic is flawed please explain why.

Again to refresh, I am looking for a good up, heady, energetic, creative, get up and do something type of high, with just a bit of trippyness to it.

All comments are greatly appreciated.

If a awesome sativa with power and awesome taste is what u want in a fast and easy to grow package. Tga subcools vortex, jack the ripper, or the flav is what u want. The cleaner is superb but slower. The ripper is lemony hazy but huge buds and a true 8 wk haze. The vortex is fruity delicious dankness with a brain warping high. That finishes in 50 some days. The flav is romulan x spacequeen x romulan. It's tasty super potent and affordable too. 5 seeds for 40 bucks. I get lots of girls too. Like 7 of 9 so far. All the phenos from tga have been keepers too very consistently dank. I'm super impressed by them.

thanks Monkeymonk840, however taste and flowering time are completely secondary, the high is what I am after first and foremost, then taste and yield, flowering time is not a major concern. After doing a bit more research I have also eliminated Full Moon, because of other reviews that said it had some slight indica traits. A couple seed banks even listed as a hybrid instead of a sativa. So as of now my 2 choices are:

Eldorado
Haze #1

Again all comments are greatly appreciated, and I would love to hear from someone who has real world experience with either or both of those.

My comment would be that even if it seems obvious to you who the breeder is when mentioning a strain, always mention the breeder whose gear you are talking about. There is always an original, which sometimes is no longer made/sold, and then there are often different breeders own versions that are genetically different and then there are breeders who purchase packs of the original strain and then sell F2 versions.

Asking for information based on strain name alone can at times get you a mixed bag of comments that can be very contradictory due to others growing a strain of the same name but was genetically different or an F2.

Thanks for the advice Brick Top

the strains Eldorado, and Haze #1 are from Nirvana

However I found a couple other that seem to match my criteria using that cool link you provided. They are:

KC Brains Holland - KC 42
Mandala Seeds - Kalichakra
Seedsman - Original Haze

Anyone of knowledge of these strains or breeders? As I know very little about them.
