best soil temps?

purple kush pots stay round 60f.plants seem fine, these pics show day 30 flower.

the ones in 7 gal pots are one month since popped.ww.they stay 62f but the one by vent grow taller and more sparse.i dont know if its the fresh air or the temp since the incoming air is cold.
have some on a shelf that stay 70f and seem to grow faster,in veg. room.
? is what temp will allow plant to grow unimpaired. is sixty too cold?

good luck peoples.

Not a soil guy myself but I can tell you that in hydro, you dont want your water below 62. Anything below and uptake of nutrients is inhibited
That taller plant near your vent is likely a function of the fact that cool night time temps increase stretching. Keep nighttime temps within 5-10 degrees if daytime to reduce stretch.

Cold soil causes nutrient uptake issues (mainly phosphorus IIRC). You should aim to keep your soil around 70 degrees, that will allow for better benny growth as well as increased nutrient availability and growth rates.

For sure! I had to add a heater to the grow tent since the night temps were getting way too low. I've noticed a nice increase in growth rate since.
