best soil to use

whats the best soil to use that i can use all the way through the session . i used happy frog for the past couple times and had all right success i had some problems with the nutes being to strong in the early stages of veg. any advice will help. thanks

Then dont use nutes so early into vegging. The soil provides your plant with food for quite some time. If you have nute problems in past grows then wait a little longer than last time to start feeding.

I use black gold because its somewhat cheap. readily available in my areas... and doesnt have a bunch of crap like Miracle Grow has. but thats just what works for me. A lot of people are into Fox Farms.

i have a friend that him and i are starting a grow at his place and we are using sta-green flower and vegetable planting mix. it seems to be working realy well. I used MG soil for my last grow and they were not close to as big as these plants are already. we put them in soil from germination about a week or 2 ago and these plants are looking amazing. they are almost 2 inches tall already and have 3 nodes coming off them. they are about 3and a half inches wide with a thick stock as well. We just used this soil mix we found at i think home depot and mixed some MG perlite with it and we just started watering with half strength MG nutes. This set up should work for us since we are movin them outside when it gets warm.
