I'm knew to Cape Breton Island and I brought my strains I've made in Central Ontario with me . Know I'm on the ocean with salt spray from the ocean and salty soil every where and wildly different oceanic climate. I'm an experience guerilla grower and breeder, I'm just wondering if there any oceanic strains out there from breeders from here that have already adapted to the nova scotia climate that i'm not aware of, I'm very familair with breeders and genetics butt I don't think there any Maritime strains. Any strain names that did well here (from experience or word of mouth) .

you are exactly at the limit "Coordinates: 45°13′N 62°42′W / 45.217°N 62.7°W / 45.217; -62.7 " you can choose outdoor/indoor seeds doesn't matter. flowering period should not be longer than 10 weeks, finishing period first maximul 2 week of october. use organic nutrients, sea weed is great, the weed will be very tasty, yummmmm, going to get one !

WHAT THE FUCK LOL, is this a joke bro. how do you know my exact coordinates before I do. And yes I am at the 45th did you creep me or some shit, lol.thanks tho. your right about the organics , repeated use of chemical fertilizer results in salt crystals , and theres all ready enough salt here, that's the problem, and no indoor strains for growing outdoor here tho bro I brought my early flowering strains from Muskoka ,Ontario here, it's the 45th too

I would recomed stains from canada made for the outdoors.(short flower times.)

I dont think any strain is able to handel salt. lol
Be sure to use your own soil, an line the hole or use a pot to keep the salt from getting in the soil....

I grew alot of local strains that have been bred by my friends that grew there for decades so ther well adapted to the climate we would get around 4 -8 oz plants that flower early. Butt if your going to buy seeds from the bank, I strongly suggest you get Nagano Gold aka Gold from Visc. There easy to clone and we doubled the yeild it say's they yeild , And we just grew with those dollar bags of topsoil from walmart and hit them with a strict npk concentate mix all summer . Nagano Gold is the best strain to get for Ontario in my experience, It's very mold resistant and early flowering pure indica, with very dense buds. I could go on and on about how it's so good and every way, honestly Nagano Gold hit with 15-30-15 for everystage OMFG it's impossible to fuck up, 4-8 oz plants, and out of all the other strains I grow everyone wants the Gold and nothin butt the Gold. just whatever you do get Canadian strains and no European strains. I grew there for years and tryed knew strains every year and no european strains excell past our own strains bred by our own breeders in fact they don't do well here at all compared to Canadian outdoor strains. cause the climates so different. You can't beleive what you read with those banks. Butt are breeders yea, ther the cats ass. Remember each clone gets there own bag of topsoil each. And pour the blue juice to'em. If you do that , trust me better day's are commin. you can do any soil mix butt to save money we did it that way and theirs no point of getting expensive hydro mixes cause I'm tellin ya from experience, the Nagano thrives in just that so save your coin.

Also from cb, anything with a short flowering period is good really try to find one around 7 or 8 weeks , I wouldnt grow anything with a large influence of sativa. Are you using the native soil or bringing soil to your area?

Commercial mix, And my strains that I bred and brought here are early flowering 100% Indica's (purple strains). It's still on the 45th so I'm not worried at all about flower time. I was more or less wondering if any Canadian breeders had a program here. Butt any input is appreciated. I'm use to 4-8 oz per plant myself the odd one every year get's 12 oz ,butt I only get one of those a year. What kind of yield do you get here in CB with the climate? .

Shaney,
I'm not far from you.
I grew European seeds the last few years and they done fine for me.
Made sure I got early flowerers though.
Had 3 of 10 Nothern lights from Nirvana seeds that were about pounders.Pulled them about the first week of Oct.
Also had White widow/big buds that do good. They're from X-line.Bought them all through dopeseeds.com.
Great price for fem seeds

Grew drgreenthumbs seeds last year.
He is based out of Ottawa and he claims his strains are breed for canadian climate, but some don't do as well outdoors as the Euro seeds I grew.
His Chemdawg and OG Kush are long flowering.Took em down 3rd week of Oct. and could have left em longer, except for the cold.

Best strain I grew around here were bubblegum clones taken here from BC by a guy about 5 years ago.
Massive plants, finished about first of oct. and buds as tight as a nuns cunt.
I'm gonna try get some agian this year through my cousin.I don't know the original guy.
