Best strains for outdoor new england ?

Hi, looking to buy some seeds for an outdoor grow, and would love some advice.

Low maintenance (pest, disease, drought, etc, resistance) is the key factor, with yield and quality coming in at a tie for second place. (I may not be able to check them every single day, for sure.)

Also, any info on how long before the last frost I should start them indoors (which is the plan) would be helpful.

I would guess that it would make sense to try to match the real day length with my indoor day length as closely as I can before I put them outside, too...any thoughts on that?

And last, since I am already asking for favors here, what is the downside of vegging for too long before they go outside .

All I can offer in return is +rep, so thanks in advance to all of us who like to talk about the hypotheticals of breaking a stupid law (Which, of course, is all we are doing here)

Thanks everyone
