Best temperature for cooking butter

Hey guys and gals, been a little while since I last posted but my crop came through nicely and I have been experimenting with making cannabutter. I use about 3 cups butter melted in 9 cups boiling water. I use leaf and stem and a little scrap bud left over from trimming, the quantity of scrap is about one full "grocery bag" (sorry no scale to predict weight). I simmer this concoction for 3 hours at 220 F and bake my goodies at about 350-375 F, the effect is usually pretty intense. Eating one cookie will get you a nice mellow buzz for a few hours and up to 3-4 cookies gets me pretty messed up for the day.

Anyone else use these temperatures or have any suggestions for a better temp to cook with.

Thanks and happy cooking.

How did you decide on the temperature of 220?
