If you dont want to run air conditioning and deal with heat issues run a cob setup. Mind u I know nothing about cali temperstures other than you guys have palm trees
I had a 600 watt open ended hps on in a 3x3 tent with 4" inline fan.
With carbon filter temperature stayed at 29c
Without carbon filter at 25c and fan ran constantly
Hortibloom Luma b4 (4x citizen 1212 chips)
170 usd delivered
They can mix them with 3k and 4k for colour.
Good par if you make sure you overlap.
Theres also alot of Chinese fixtures comparable to gavita for a fraction of the cost and the journals comparing them to gavitas with living proof all over YouTube.

Is that the ones you claimed they gave you for free to test out? Sounds more like a sale price. Are you gonna start that Chinese knock off stuff being just as good quality here too?
Not all carbon filters are equal and they don't perform well in high humidity that was your problem.
This kid hasn't managed to keep a single seedling alive and is giving advice on lighting.

Humidity was never a problem.
My issue was overwatering.
Dont need a carbon filter because weeds legal here.
You dont need to be an expert grower to understand a par chart and spectrums. The formulas never change. Just the light that provides them.

You might want to double check if your AC is actually providing fresh air. If it's a sealed room the AC normally just cools the air in the room.

Be careful not to have your LEDs too close to the canopy. Of all the types of lighting, LED would be the type you'd place higher above the canopy than the others. I've made some mistakes and had some airy/fox-tailed tops because of this yet my lower branches (even 3-4+ft) are rocks. Shoot for even canopy penetration and a more complete light spectrum.

If you're are growing in inhabited part of your house, you can take advantage of the rich CO2 in your air for free.
My house is 2200+ sqft, and CO2 runs in the range 800- 2200 ppmv, depending on how many people and dogs are breathing. I keep the circulation fan on continuously to avoid buildup in bedrooms. If you keep your house windows open or are running a gas furnace, it will reduce your levels.
Fluffy nugs usually result from too much heat and low light intensity. With leds, you can acclimate your plants to high (40+ DLI) light intensity. Your Viparspectras can be worked down to 12-16" (30-40 cm) if spread is not an issue.
A flat canopy with high light flux (800+ pffd) will give all strains the best shot. (Indicas slightly less as a rule).
