Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the best way to make hash. What would be the best way to make it after harvest and everything you can use.

Which Ice method? The dry ice one. Or bubble machine one? I've heard so many different things. Some say you get the most yield in Dry ice While others say you get the puriest with water and ice and I have no idea who to believe,

i do the dry ice way if i dont got dry ice i just use a shit ton of regular ice and does the trick too, i dont use or have bubble bags so all i use is a 5gal bucket put a cheese cloth over the top and mash the ice n weed in a diffirent bucket/bowl then and strain everything out n throw it over the cheese cloth to collect the thc. and BAMM hash ive done it this way for years and always got Killer results!

If I do hash these days, it is for the taste and I prefer about a 10% dry sieve, because it retains more of the lighter terpenes.

When I was extracting kif to dissolve into oil, I used a washing machine and bubble bags.

Both processes work well and produce a tasty effective product, so as you can imagine, both have their promoters and avid followers.

There is no best way.Everyone has their own best way of making hash in the same way that everyone has their own best way of cooking a steak.

I know there is not just one certain way to do it that's better than others. i just wanna know how everyone else does it. would also like to know what all parts of the plant are usable. Just wanting to try different methods to see which works best for me..

I think everyone pretty much gave the best advice , but hash is a vauge word , some people say bho and iso are hash , But they deserve there own category so I say theyre a concentrate . if your looking for the highest , tasting , just pure goodness , well bho . you could do iso... but I find its only as good for smaller batches like 14gs and less at a time , and you need to soak it for like 5 seconds , the lower you leave it in the more its golden.

easiest way would be to make pressed kief hash , thats what ''hash'' is . just grab a silk screen or grinder , and shake the shit out of it freeze it first or put dry ice in the screen sifter you want for more kief. I think they call them kief boxes .
best pressed hash though is bubble hash , you can control how small you want the holes to get thinner stronger kief that bubbles and melt . good hash normally bubbles and melt ;)

I've done a few BHO (a lot more ISO) and they are good, I like them both. I do have 3 silk screens all different micron sizes but I mostly used those to shake kief like you stated. I usually shake it and squish it with my fingers but it doesn't really bubble and melt like my BHO or ISO. Like it does it barely I would say. I was interested in the cold water/ice water method but I really don't want to invest in bubble bags n such :???: I saw on youtube that people fill jars or containers filled with ice, water, and materiel and shake the hell out of it and then strain it with cheese cloth or coffee filters, but are those methods effective? The bubble hash created would be that caught in the cheese cloth/coffee filter? I noticed the water is usually all greenish (plant matter I'm guessing) do I just evap the water and scrap the left over residue as if it were BHO/ISO? I'm basically trying to achieve full melt (hell even melt lol) wax/hash/concentrate without using any solivents.

The screen sizes I have is 220, 110, and I want to say 105 but can't recall last one. I've heard of people making dry bubble hash where it's basically like cold water hash except not using water. Basically just using different size screens with dry material, then your end result would be like that of cold water hash. What are the pro's and con's of those methods? Thanks for the help and insight guys!
