Bet you can't figure this one out

best deal you can find for live predator mites for your flower room. you are correct, you don't want to spray that stuff on flowering plants. I did however spray that forbid all aorund them on the floor and walls and it really seemed to wipe them out. A week later, I released the predators. Had a friend do it also with same results. I now use predators every month to prevent this again.

ease off of nitrogen,and raise the light a bit.

Thanks for the link. Friday I ordered some of those hotshot no pest strips. Think that will have any effect?

nope, not going to effect them one bit. i have tried those many times and they work great for everything but mites,especially broadmites.

So are predator mites my only option for budding plants? Did you try Azamax?

yeah, My buddy that figured out what our problem was, uses azamax on a regular basis and he still got them. Like I said, if you spray forbid on the floor around the plants, just the vapor of that stuff seemed to knock the little effers and there eggs out.

I can't see them being tolerant to mighty wash if they're a soft bodied mite. also I can't see them being immune to an oil which suffocates such as purespray green, nothing but petroleum oil but if you spray something with it if it can't breath petroleum oil then it's history.

you need to read more into broadmites, they really are so small they get into the ripples of the stem, in bamboo stakes if you use them. so, I am sure if you hit them with the mighty wash directly, it would kill them, But they just come right back. Using forbid in veg it kills for 1-2 months and predator mites kill off anything in flower. I know you love the mighty wash, and i do as well for spider mites, but these things are different and they cost me way to much. Like I said, I used MW 3 times at 3 day intervals and it did nothing to them.

oh I'm totally with you on the forbid as soon as I get an extra 3 bills saved up. dunno what you spray with but when I spray my room humidity goes up to 100 percent since I use a airless paint sprayer, nothing lives. if you try to tackle an infestation even if it's the larger spider mites I can't see using a buck 99 spray bottle. a lot of the times it's not what you are spraying but how you spray it.

I used one of those high powered atomizers, At first i thought my problem was just spidermites. but after the 3 treatments of MW, I couldn't find any spidermites, yet my plants kept dying and/or putting out very little yield with dead leaves everywhere. My friend discovered the broadmites, I looked with a 60x mag, and sure enough, they were infested. So take from my experience and just do it right or it ends up just about ruining you.

an atomist? I retired mine and went with the airless paint sprayer, much much better.

I'll take your word for it though, although here broadmites aren't a huge problem that I know of, the spider mites are hell though.

So my next step should be predator mites? I've also got Avid on the way. Will it do the same job as Forbid? I was able to acquire it much cheaper.

Hey Chuck, the site you pointed me to offers lots of different mights. Is this the right one?

those are the mites I got, also the californicus is a good one. In the articles I read, they recommended abamectin, which is what is in avid, so i would say your good to go.

Mites are ordered! I assume the predators have a short life span too right? So as long as I harvest several weeks after application I shouldn't be smoking pred. mites, am I right?
