Beware Internet Purchases

Well, purchasing some Cal/Mag and having it sent to work really fucked me good. The UPS couldnt find my work address, so I told them to send it to my house. Well, they for some reason, sent a letter to my boss saying that the package for Cheech Wizard from HTG supply sent to my office was being sent to my house instead?!?!?!?!? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why the hell would they do that??????? So, basically my security was compromised as I had a call from my boss who googled HTG and accused me of illegal activity and was quite pissed I had it originally sent to my office. now I most likely will be losing my job, I have a $3,500 mortgage so that really sucks. I gave 5 away to friends who only had room for the 5, and already murdered the other 4 beautiful flowering ladies... I was expecting a pound+ from this.... URGH! All my gear is packed away at a buddies and looks like Im out of the game for awhile.. but, live to fight another day.... why the hell would they send a letter to my boss?>????? Have you ever heard such shit? Anyway, thought it was fine ordering online but be smart and dont unless its to a friends house or something.... F**K! Im devastated................

wow man, im sorry to hear about that. i have no idea why they would do that. did you call ups and see wat the hell happened? i would be pissed. but why are u losing ur job? that stuff isnt illegal

Thats what I told my boss, that I ordered some gardening supplies and she went on their website and thinks I am full of shit which I am.... boss is not stpid.. she knows whats up. Boss is really pissed only by the fact that I had these supplies sent to boss company

Im devasted. Those were my babies.. I loved this hobby. It has become my passion. It has been such a good thing for me. So calming... and to literally take them and crush and kill them and put them in garbage bags was sadder than watching Marley and Me.... Im crushed

Actually only killed 4 and gave 5 to friends. So, Im sure they will hook me up with some after they are done.... then spent the rest of the night dismantling my two tents and shit.... But u know how it is... those were my babies... I dont think boss would call cops, but, one never knows... security was compromised and thats all I needed to know... between that and the plumbers I had in house last week who I heard whispering how "it reeks like weed" I took as an omen and decided to cut losses....

Don't want to hate on you,but DAMN,sending it to work.What is wrong with your house.Why even bring your work place into it.If you are afraid of getting busted buying over the internet,they will get you at work just as easy as your house.
If you would have given them directions to your place of work instead of changing the shipping adress in midstream,you would have been alright.Changing the adress made ups think you were stealing from your company.

Yeah, I was stupid. And, believe me, Im usually a very cautious person... that was stupid of me to change it mid-stream thats what did it. I have sent to work in past and its been fine. Im bummed

I ordered it to my real name just didnt want to put it out here.. I was stupid for switching it to my house.... what a f'n idiot I am you dont have to tell me. But hey, it was a lesson, I learned from it, and I thought I had shit locked tight but next time I will be way more careful.. and I have ordered tons of shit to my house in past! I dont know what I was thinking. I was baked out of my head as usual thats what I was thinking...

i guess all you can do is learn from this. and thank you for sharing your experiene, beause i will learn from it too.. hopefully some day you pick up the hobby again!

wow that sucks, I usually get small stuff delivered to my work, like my ppm metre and small nute bottles like canna boost, and bigger stuff delivered to my parents place coz there is always someone home. I work some stupid hours and cant always make it to the post office to pick stuff up.

I cant think of why they would fire you for that though, at the end of the day, your not getting baked or dealing at work, it's not affecting your job and it's not illegal. I reckon now that you have all your stuff packed up anyway and have nothing to worry about, hit them for wrongful dismissal, nothing to lose.

Well, my boss apologized to me and said she was just stressed. She was just pissed off that I linked her name and company with that. So, looks like Im fine, phew... Now Im kinda pissed that I took down my op when i had a few more weeks of flowering. Damn..... I feel like I threw away a pound of dank herb. Well, I basically did. Oh well, Im gonna start back up in a more secure location real soon..

Hey Fdd, I dont have sound on this computer but will listen when i get home... So bummed... I think Im gonna start up again right away tho cuz it will be hot here soon.... although maybe I should wait since I know the plumbers suspected... I thought it was so perfect in my basement but if you have a pipe leak or something your screwed... And Attic gets mega-hot in summer... My dad said I could grow in a spot in his house but its only 45 inches high so I dont think that will do.... My next batch will be MK-Ultra.

Im still going to the spot where I had them to check on them like they are still there or something... my phantom plants...... Ill have some plants soon enough I guess.. and my friends who took the 5 will give me some smoke from them so.... things coulda been worse. I feel like I overreacted from paranoia though and shouldnt have shut down. But between beiing straight up asked if Im growing by my boss and over-hearing the plumbers say "it reeks like weed" I got paranoid... Oh well, better to be safe than sorry I always say

OP, I would talk with a lawyer(jewy jew and stein).
you were fired because you had/tried to ship gardening supplies to your work place.
it doesn't matter what your boss thinks and clearly isn't grounds to fire someone...
