BHO buddering too fast, underpurged

I just did a run of an unknown strain, waited for bubbles to stop initially, scraped everything to the middle of my Pyrex, and continued to purge over 135 degree water, popping smaller bubbles and glazing the top surface with a torch. I feel that it buddered up way too quickly before all the butane was out, and now my dilemma is that it won't get viscous enough to finish purging. What do I do???

I'd say it was because you used the torch. I've never heard of using a torch to help speed up the process that you don't really want to speed up.
I imagine you'll have to try and vacuum purge now.

I've never had any problems like that with the torch before. I imagine it has a lot to to with the strain, which I've never worked with before. And I do not have a vacuum chamber. Thank you for the input. I'm trying a low heat oven purge now, I guess we'll see.
