Egadz!!! While it's true"all electronic communications can be recorded" it still takes human eyes to research the data, Let's face it..there are more important issues than who says what on RUI or any other pro pot site.. Same is true for credit card charges.. How many billion CC transactions take place every day? The reality is..no one cares, period, zip. There is much more concern over child porn than pot, which is how it should be.
I'm going to get one of those pre charged card for my purchases of seeds, other than that I use my regular card for equipment buys, and get it sent to my house. I believe that finally we are not percieved as the threat that we used to be.

I've noticed the ads have gotten bigger recently too. But it's how the internet works these days, they're all over. Just use a ad blocker if they bother you.

I don't mind the small ads at all. They bring in revenue. But that big one with the guy who looks like Ali G creeps me out.

his attitude stinks, I run a forum with over 300,000 members and the ungrateful sods who complain about adverts and what not have no place on such a fantastic free resource. i do apologise for coming over like a cunt but truely why is he complaining, if the admins choose to put adverts on their own website who is he to complain?someone def woke up with a finger up his ass this morning

30k is nothing my friendim not ungrateful ive gained a great deal from RIU. i just dont like adverts.
and actually i do work in an organisation that has 30,000+ members on the web collating data in and out. and to be honest server costs are pretty minimal.

you dont have to do anything, be graetful when you get something for nothing, nothing is being forced on you. I dont block the ads and funnily enough I have no problem at all viewing any of the information available here.
If you really dislike adverts so much then quite simply leave, subscribe, get an ad blocker or stop whining.
maybe i was a little too harsh for your liking but i was simply expressing my opinion that you are not nearly as grateful as you should be.
There are many fantastic resources on the net and unfortunately many of them die due to lack of funding, small adverts here and there can help (but rarely ever pay for the sites full costs). People like you are happy to take take take and when something so simple as an advert appears infront of you, you demand to know why you are forced to witness such a thing banging on about how you dont want to be linked to a dope site when really nothing has changed other than you highlight some more of your ungrateful personality

why was there so much agression toward this subject? he had a winge about adverts he's not ungrateful. everybody winge's about something its natural to.
