Big blue is indeed Northernlights 5# x Blueberry

It is not an outside strain, although i think it is possible. I have grown it a lot of times now and i must say its a very special strain.

It is mostly indica, though the sativa pretty much is dominant.

It grows not only with short internodes but i grows AMAZINGLY fast. What eg an afghani does in thirty days this strain wil do in only 15 days IT IS THAT FAST. The sativa like leaves allow the light to penetrate perfectly so give them a long vegetative stage for a big yield! It flower in eight weeks. And it does not like a whole lot of nutrients(keep your EC a LITTLE lower) BIG BLUE IS A BIG YIELDER(its a white strain)

The first time i did not grow the long enough but under 600 HPS we had 380gr on 1 square meter(plant height about 80cm) when you grow them larger (even when closet cultivating) 500 gr+ is not difficult.

The smoke is very very sweet, and although its mostly indica, its high is mainly cerebrale with a relaxing body effect. Connaiseurs will apreciate its taste, its more bleuberry then bleuberry itself!

Hello everyone,

Here are some pics of my Dr.Atomic's NL#5xBlueberry ladies growing in the great outdoors. These beauties are in their 4th week of flowering and look to be coming along quite well. First attempt at growing this strain outdoors so far all seems good. The last picture is of a clone I never found a home for that I have been controlling the light schedule by putting her indoors in the evening. In the flushing stage right now with 2 weeks left to go.

Hopefully this answers any questions regarding growing this strain outdoors.

PeakseedsBC has the cross, they call it Northernberry. I've grown a couple of plants out recently, it's a very nice strain. Grows quick and strong, doesn't stretch a lot when flipped, makes solid tasty nuggets. The high is not a knockout, but a smooth, relaxed high that you'll want to keep up all day. It's a strain I'll be keeping.

Dr. atomic is the breeder. i have the older version that i picked up from a hippie friend. they are dr atomic bb X nl from 5 years ago so i have no idea if they will germ but they seem to have been kept in good condition. still in original vial.

i think he changed the name to Big Blue after he changed it up a bit.

I personally love this strain i harvest a plant every 2 weeks at about a foot and a half and get close to an ounce in 60 days the buds are nice and compact while the aroma is close to blueberry muffins

Grown from clones outside, this plant is fast -- it was the first strain we harvested this year. The plants are very much shorter than our higher % sativa strains, but bushier. They look like they'd do quite well inside. More of a fruity smell from the buds than the others (I grew several of these, some OGK, some Blackberry and a Green Queen this year). We probably got our best yield from the Northern X Blueberry, but the Blackberry buds were slightly denser, but tended to want to get powder mold by the end of the season .... This was a looongggg harvest season here in Northern California, just ending yesterday. Our OGK came out last, needing longer time.
