Germination through Week1-2 (17 Days from seed)
I am starting a grow journal of the Big Buddah Blue Cheese. Seeds were germinated between moist paper towels in a ziploc bag , they were placed in a dark and warm area and germinated in 24 hours. It will be grown in Soil from seed (non- feminized) and purchased from Attitude, under 4x 54 w 6500k T5 fluorescent for the Vegetative cycle and will be switched to 600 watt Hps for Flower. Veg cycle is 18/6. I am using the House and Garden nutrient line and Fox Farms Soil. For the seedling stage Fox Farms (FF) Light Warrior was chosen. For transplanting (seed to veg stage (at first 5 leaf)) 4:1 Ocean Forest to Light Warrior will be used.

The journal will be updated at least weekly. Will they be males, females, or neither?! ltmq . Vote in the poll!! Wish them luck!

I noticed that my cotyledons had begun to yellow, I checked over everything and noticed that the roots were starting to come out the bottom of the small pot. I transferred the seedlings to much larger "tidy cat" containers.I watered around the plant with (water and root accellerator ) only because I already watered the plant with its weekly nutrients.

The poll will definitely have a definite answer! Whether the answer of the poll correlates with the actual sex of the plants, is a question for the spirits! ooooOO00OOOooo I am calling on you the RIU members to use their sixth or even seventh senses to divine the truth about my seedlings sexual dispositions! If you find yourself unable to choose between one of the three answers in the poll please focus hard and consult the spirits again before posting.

I started the little ones on there first week of veg as I noticed the first 5 fingered leaf. The first picture is of the nutrient regimen prescribed by "House and Garden" (Van de Zwaan) nutrients.

Sorry the second picture is blurry, I am too lazy to fix it.

I am getting ready to start using the LST method. I will be using metal hooks fashioned from coat hangers. You can see in the pictures above that I angled them slightly, I am going to do this again today, and then tommorow I will place the first hook.

So begins week #4, it was only 2 days ago that the vegetative regimen with House and Garden nutes started. The plants have grown quite a bit in that time.

The LST method is being started here, and I am not really positive if this is the correct place to put the hook, I don't know if you put it above the node or below like it is, because growth has been so vigorous.
