Ok so I had a little win on the dogs, so i thought I would treat myself with my winnings.

I've splashed out over 100 dollars on these bad boys.

Its time to start the cheese, the 12 seeds that came in the pack have been germinating for about 6 hours now.

10/12 have germinated successfully, these seem to be pretty fast movers, they have germinated pretty quickly and they are starting to rise to the lamp.

Very nice. How do you control the heat issues? Does a good reflector really make a difference in heat within the grow room?
I dunno I still just a poor grower lol, i have the cheap ole dutch shiny hoods, i have an air cooler in there as well the osc fan in the pic

Its the big buddha version unfortunately, uk cheese has only been around in clone form, I read somewhere that it was a certain strain that was brought and the phenos were totally different to the rest of the plants and it turned out to be an amazing smoke, it was cloned and cloned and the clones have been in circulation for ages, but you have to be lucky enough to know someone who has been given legitimate cheese clones to hand it on to you.

Update photo.

I have not been able to find my ph meter for a few days and I have been feeding my plants nutrient that was too high of a ph. I have found it now and set it right but there is still a little yellowing of the coyt leaves.

uk cheese is originally just skunk #1, but a pheotype saved and cloned for its cheesey aroma and high thc levels.
bb have crossed a uk 'exodus' cheese clone with an afghani male, and the resultant cross is what they call cheese. according to numerous people who have grown out or smoked both versions, theyre definately not the same. however, bb cheese still sounds like a decent smoke, yield and choice.

i managed to get an oz of uk exodus cheese from a friend about a month ago and i have to say its a great smoke - lovely taste, nice and strong. however, the 'high' is a bit commonplace inica. nice if you mix it with a little haze...

good luck with it ngt, will be interesting to see how it goes

Thanks morp but i already know about cheese and where it comes from.

The bb cheese isnt just a straight cross either, it was crossed with the afghani, then the resultant genetics were back crossed 5 times with a uk cheese female.

12 days after germination, new batteries in the ec truncheon and i found my ph pen.

Because my truncheon was low on batteries without me realising and i lost my ph pen. I had been feeding them nute solution with a ec of 1.8 and a ph of 6.5
