Big enough for age?

Hey guys so ive been doing this stuff for a while now and ive been using the same strain (unknown) so im kind if used to how it grows and i was just womdering what you guys think of there size for their age. I started them on the 11th of october so about 6 weeks old. I am usimg a 100% organic soil mix with extra vermiculite and perlite mix, currently in a 2x2 tent with around 200 actual cfl watts.

I have a s.all fan for circulation and an inline with filter for exhaust. This strain seems to take off fast but then always seems to slow down a fair bit after being topped.

Im just wondering if i am making a mistake somewhere along the line, nlw i dont measure ph just bcoz i never have but i do measure temp and humidity and temp is at high around 27ºC Max and about 15ºc min (i cant realy make it warmer when lights go out).
And humidity stays between 40%-50%.

I have a new tent kit coming soon which is 4x4 with 600 watt hps/mhd and extraction fan is 450cfm with 2 speeds so i am hoping they pick up with that, judging from the pics do you guys think i should veg for another 2 weeks with the new kit or shoukd i flip now? Im after as much yield as possible and tye new tent is 2 mtrs high so a good height.

Just wondering if anyone can suggest how much longer to veg for. Theynare just under 12 inches tall now and ive layed out a scrog just until my new tent arrives in a week or so then ill be switching ro my 600 watt mh for a week or 2 but thort id check with all the pros on here first to see what they reckomend. Ill have 2 meters of heighr not including light and ballast (cooltube hood)

How high is your tent height? How tall are the pots? Make sure you have room for the stretch which depends on strain, the one I'm running is triples in size with 200% stretch so be aware of that. I would flower once you know those variables that way you can get the plants as big as possible for the room they are in.

Looks good. id go out on a limb and say with CFL and soil and larger pots they are about right size wise if they are from seed.

12 to 14 inches high seems to be a common flip height (if not running a scrog). If running a scrog then you need to keep vegging until the net is nearly full.

I like your plants. You asked for add'l comments so I would just say I don't see much perlite in your soil.

Tent is 2 mtrs tall an pots are 40 cm tall so all up im only using 70 cm of space including the height of the plants and the light is a cooltube which is 8 inch diameter

That screen is very small for the number of plants you have. 2 plants will fill that screen up to capacity. If you veg just a couple more weeks 1 plant could fill that whole screen up.

Also, do you have a plan for watering them once they start fill it out? It's can get to be a royal pain in the ass taking care of them.

Yeah i know its a tiny screen but its just temporary until my 4x4 tent comes next week then i will be making a bigger one. And for the watering i was just going diy some type of watering can with a long piece of clear hose on the end for watering while the screen is in

I prefer letting them clear the pot by removing bottom branches (where only shit colas grow anyway). Even a few inches improves airflow, makes it easier to water without spilling on the leaves, and makes it less attractive to bugs. Some use the term lollypopping.

Thats my plan, i have moved them into the new tent with the 600 watt and thought id wait another week before putting in the scrog just to allow them to get a boost of growth and then i will be turning to flower as i have a deadline coming up and itll need to be done by mid Feb
