Cali Mist table looking nice and healthy...
yeah they are really jumping, about to get there first trim job...

the others are greening up slowly, im sure they will turn around and get with the program, just not gonna have that nice canopy. i work with it though...

trying to figure out how im supposed to add more lights, i dont wanna do a flip flop anymore, i just wanna run a big room with co2. i have 25 lights total, i want 5 or 6 for my moms then like 16 for flower, but my service is only 100 amps. and thats pushing it.

and mrgreen, your sub'd.

Hmmm, I remember in your old pics from my thread you had like 4 or 6 1000s on your mothers...I run one 4 foot 8 bulb T5 for ten mothers each in 5 gallon 12'' by 12'' square pots...I just keep them short. I was able to take 140 clones off 8 of my mothers and have 15 right now total.

I would bet if you had 2 or 3 of the 8 bulb T5 lights like mine and keep your mothers in check you would be fine. My moms are 3 feet tall each...more than enough. If I can pull 140 off 8 plants you could easily do something similar and that would cut down on amp usage a lot right there...those T5s are only 430 watts each.

thats a good idea! im planning on revamping my entire mom setup as is... the old HUGE ones are gonna get tossed hopefully, i have about 20 growing in 5 gal pots right now... just waiting for those to get a little bigger before we start chopping down a ton.

another thing to note is that i provide clones for our collective also, so i need to cuts for myself AND help meet the needs of patients... and you know what time of year is coming up real shortly... we are already starting to get outdoor clone orders in...

do you hand water those beds? i just saw the little tube in the corner of the bed and was wondering if that's how you water by dumping water down the tube so it fills the bottom of the bed instead of top watering the soil.

you should take all those bends out of the ducting from hood to hood it can increase air flow and would cool better

Hand water with a wand, the tubes are for fresh air exchange under the soil. there is a layer of lava rock under the soil...

then i wouldnt be able to move the lights higher/lower than the one next to it, they are a bitch as it is...

plants are a little rough looking
if you read the thread, i stated they were in 3" containers since 10-3-10. glad they are still alive.

Fist post, just had a few things to say/ask.

Amazing setup, you definitely have this rig simplified and perfected. Big planters keep things nice and simple, and you have almost infinite space for roots to grow. couple questions, why do you grow in soil? Is it a personal preference, do you have better results, less maintenance, etc??? Do you feel you could get similar/better results with hydro?

Also, what is your feeding schedule, feed with watering once a week? And what are the details of a "collective", is it a bunch of mmj patients pooled together that buy from you or...

sorry for all the ???'s, I'm new here and your grow is amazing.

i can probably cut down on veg time wioth hydro, i just know that the soil isnt going to kill my plants super quick, it leaves a buffer, i dont check PH or PPM's or anything... just filtered water and nutes. soil is very forgiving.

my feed schedule is water water feed. takes almost a week for the soil to dry out...

the collective is a legal non profit california dispensary my friend and i operate. almost 1000 members.

How hot do those lights get. I got 2 1000w setups with magnum XXXL hoods I've yet to setup. Obviously they'll be air cooled. You think they'll add 10 or less degrees to the rooms total ambient temperature? I'm doing something similar but on a much smaller scale 14x5X8 room with only 2 1000w setups.
