bigbuddhaseeds.com - scam, fake or just horrible, non-existing customer service?

Hello fellow growers,

I placed my order with http://www.bigbuddhaseeds.com half a month ago. After one day I already received a message that my order was shipped.

Unfortunately I didn't received my seeds yet and I am afraid that the homepage I order from is a scam?

I tried to contact their sales team via [email protected] but they didn't responded to any of my three emails and I am getting worried that I got scammed.

Did anyone else ordered from this page with success recently? Did you had recent contact with their sales team/support?

I live within the EU and the order was shipped (from UK or Spain?) to a EU-country where seeds can be sold legally. Hence I can exclude that the order was seized by authorities or anything like that.

Maybe big buddha seeds are in legal or other troubles and are not able to support their customers anymore or do regular business?

If you know anyone working for bigbuddhaseeds please let them know about this case.

I hope you guys can give me some info, loosing an order worth 340,00 USD / 250,00 EUR would hurt as it is my first grow.

Update:

I wrote another email to bigbuddhaseeds just after I created this thread.

I received an immediate reply from them and they apologized that I still didn't received my order.

They looked into my case by now and confirmed that my shipment probably got stolen or was lost.

They offered my either a refund or a replacement. I choose a replacement and they will also send me some free seeds due to the circumstances.

Furthermore their customer support let me know that by ordering I agreed to their Terms and Condition which state that 14 days have to pass until they start looking into a failed order.

A short answer stating that 14 days have to pass until they look into a failed order would have been a good thing though....

I will update this thread concerning the development of my case and will also report about the quality of their product in a grow journal.

I hope bigbuddhaseeds can solve this case to my satisfaction.

Update:

Finally I received my order, shortly after it was shipped.

However my complete shipping address wasn't stated on the shipping label although I supplied them with such from the very beginning.

Hence I had to call the courier company after a failed delivery attempt was visible on the tracking and supply them with my full address.

Most likely this was the reason why the initial first package never arrived.

I contacted bigbuddhaseeds twice to ask why they didn't stated my complete address but until today they didn't bother to give me an answer to that question.

Furthermore the salesteam promised me 10 more seeds from the same strain I ordered and another 10 seeds from another strain due to the delay and the circumstances.

I am not a bean counter and I am grateful for each free seed but only 3 more seeds from the same strain and 8 from another strain were delivered.

In the end I am not really happy with their customer service and professional standard and I think they really need to improve on it.

Furthermore everyone should be aware that 30 days can pass until your order will be delivered if you order directly from bigbuddhaseeds.

Hence my recommendation is to order from a seedbank which is stocking bigbuddha seeds. In this way the long delivery times and the "improvable" customer service can be avoided.

Once the grow with this seeds is finished I will post a detailed grow journal. I hope that the "real quality" of their product is as good as the reputation.
